Here's The Cost Of Square-Cut Solitaire Engagement Ring Of Deepika Padukone Gifted By Ranveer Singh

Yes, it’s been a long wait but as they say, “Intezaar Ka Fal Meetha Hota Hai”. And in this case, it was the sweetest. “Ye Deewani to Bhavnani ho gayi” was correctly said by Mr Bhavnani Sr after Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh wedding, and we can’t agree more to that. Deepika and Ranveer’s destination marriage is a wedding hangover from which we all wouldn’t want to recover from. (Also Read: Ranveer Singh's Mumbai Residence Stunningly Decorated For Newbie Bride Deepika's Grih Pravesh)

With just releasing two pictures from their Konkani and Sindhi wedding, Deepika and Ranveer took the internet by the storm, wherein the bride and groom donned themselves in Sabyasachi ensembles. The magic of the red and gold Sabyasachi outfit on Deepika is nevertheless surreal, and deliciously ornate and heavy Kanjeevaram, the gilded and rich saree give us the glimpse of hues of her on-screen portrayal of Padmavati.

Not only the gold zari and embellishments represents her poised and graceful personality, but the Hindu mantra, Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava embroidered on top of her dupatta, makes it a unique piece. And now to make you go all ‘oh my God’, let us tell you that 'Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava' on her chunri was inscribed on it in gold. It was gifted to Deepika by her in-laws, abiding the Sindhi traditions.

Ranveer made for the best-dressed groom in a milk-white silk Sabyasachi kurta and mundu (a version of dhoti) with the signature traditional gold-work and Sabyasachi Kanjeevaram sherwani. And we are sure, no other dulha can outshine him. And as per the tradition Konkani wedding, Ranveer’s gold ring has been gifted by Deepika’s family as according to the ritual, the bride's father washes the groom’s feet. And then, a gold ring is placed on the groom’s finger with a sacred thread put on him. (Also Read: Newlyweds Ranveer Singh And Deepika Padukone Send Sweets And Personalised Note To The Well-Wishers)

Speaking about his belief in the traditional style romance, Ranveer stated in a throwback interview, “I do find the current scenario strange. I was born in 1985 so I’ve seen a kind of miniature revolution in how interpersonal relationships are. There was a time when there was none of this technology and relationships dynamics were different. That being my foundation, yes, I am very traditional when it comes to romance. And the idea of romance. Maybe perhaps I was born more recently and Facebook and Snapchat were more prevalent, I would have a different idea. But having been born in an era where there weren’t even mobile phones, that makes my idea of romance very, very traditional.” (Also Read: Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh Are Spending An Unbelievable Amount For Security At Their Wedding)
