Rohit Shetty directorial and Karan Johar production, Simmba starring Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood, is roaring at the box-office. Simmba released on December 28, 2018, and in ten days, it's all set to cross the coveted 200-crore mark at the Indian box-office. Adding its overseas figures (Rs 73 crores, as per trade analyst Taran Adarsh), the film will definitely collect Rs 300 crore mid-way this week. Karan Johar, Rohit Shetty, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar, among other guests, celebrated the success of Simmba last night (January 08, 2019). Karan Johar shared a snap from the bash, all the big names in one frame, and captioned it, "I think I know what you’re talking about @itsrohitshetty," and Rohit Shetty shared the same photo which he worded it as, "Singham Simmba Sooryavanshi...Coming...Should I tell you Something that you don’t know???." Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone make an awesome couple together and there is no doubt about it. And during the success party of Simmba, they proved the same. Ranveer, in his crazy and super-energetic style, made a grand entry waving at his fans through the sunroof of his car. He was donned in a military-style outfit and a headband. Deepika, on the other hand, was dressed in black who was an epitome of grace and poise when clicked by the shutterbugs. The credit of Simmba's success goes to the director, Rohit Shetty. Praising him, Ranveer recently said in an interview, "I also think he knows the trade because he is a bonafide big-screen director. He is the one who gets the audience to the seats. He is the one who is shot in the arm when the footfall is falling. So, yes, as an audience and an actor who has collaborated with him, I appreciate him in every way." Earlier, during the screening of Simmba, newbie wifey, Deepika had said about Ranveer, "I loved the trailer. It's signature Rohit Shetty film. The film is on its way to becoming a blockbuster. It has success written all over it."
Ranveer Singh's greatest quality is his energetic charm as you can see in the above photos and videos. Talking about the same, Deepika once shared with a media portal, "For people who don't know him, he might come across as attention-seeking. And I completely understand that because I have to admit I had the same impression of him when he was doing Band Bajaa Baarat. I'd feel like he is too much, too loud and too this and too that. Until we started doing Ram-Leela together and before that during all our workshops is when I realised that what you see is what you get."
Deepika Padukone, in an interview with Filmfare, shared how compatible she and Ranveer Singh are. She said, "We both bring a lot of stability in each other’s lives. I’d say he brings stability in mine. But I read him say in your interview that I bring stability in his life. He said that he wouldn’t have been able to handle the kind of success that came his way but for me. Similarly, he has played a large part in making this relationship successful. I was scared. But he was so honest, so patient that he gave me grounding. I knew he was the person for me because he gives me comfort, stability and security. There’s never a moment of anxiety. When I call him and if he doesn’t answer my call, I don’t have to worry. It’s such a silly thing but yet such an important thing. I don’t have to worry about his whereabouts. I’ve lived with that fear for years before this."
Talking about Deepika, Ranveer said, "Six months into the relationship, I knew she was the one. I nurtured the relationship accordingly. It’s been six years now. She’s too good, too lovely. She’s a force of nature. I understood that almost immediately. I’m lucky to have her. I knew all too well that this is the woman I’m going to marry. This is the woman who would become the mother of my children. I’ve been thinking about marriage seriously for almost three years now.
