With just 2 days to the wedding of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, the excitement level has reached its pinnacle! Deepika and Ranveer left for their wedding in Italy on November 10, 2018, along with his parents, Anju Bhavnani and Jagjit Singh Bhavnani and sister, Ritika Bhavnani. While the groom, Ranveer looked dapper in a white bandhgala jacket with drop crotch pants, the bride was glowing with happiness in a white oversized turtleneck top and side slit skirt. Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding preparations are going on in full swings at the Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy. The couple will be pronounced husband and wife on November 14-15, 2018. As per a Peeping Moon report, just like every elated dulha, Ranveer will make his heroic entry in a seaplane at the wedding. Ranveer along with his family and friends will arrive in a seaplane which has a capacity of 14 people. The other guests will arrive at Lake Como by luxury yachts as the to-be groom has booked two yachts for the guests.
As per the reports, since Deepika and Ranveer’s marriage is happening in Italy, the menu at the wedding will have a combination of Italian and continental dishes being served along with some Indian delicacies. Special chefs from Switzerland will arrive to bake Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding cake and dole out some amazing desserts. DeepVeer will have two weddings, one will be a Sindhi ceremony to honour Ranveer’s background and another one will be Konkani ceremony in celebration of Deepika’s Kannada heritage. As per India TV News report, for the wedding on November 14, 2018, Deepika will don a saree and for the next day, she will be wearing a pink-purple lehenga. After a week-long wedding festivities in Italy, the newly-wedded couple will come back to India on November 18, 2018. Post which, they will host a wedding reception in Bengaluru on November 21, 2018 and in Mumbai on November 28, 2018.
On October 21, 2018, Deepika and Ranveer confirmed their wedding by releasing their wedding card, which could be read as, “With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of November 2018. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness. Lots of love, Deepika and Ranveer.”
Expressing how transparent her life is with Ranveer, Deepika remarked in an interview, “He is my best friend (and this is not to be taken lightly). I am emotional, sensitive and vulnerable and I hurt easily. I can be so naked in front of Ranveer and I know he will never hurt me or take me for granted. That is the kind of trust and understanding we have. The reason I love and respect him is that I can bare my soul and still feel comfortable. If this is divine connection - this is what it is!"
Further adding how she feels when she is with Ranveer, Deepika was quoted as saying, “When we're with each other, we don't need anything or anyone else. We're comfortable in each other's presence. Sometimes it's an intelligent conversation, sometimes just silence, sometimes there's a childlike innocence. We keep each other grounded.
