Dipika Kakar Diagnosed With Two New Cysts, Actress Says, 'Kuch Nahi Kar Sakte Hai.. Agar Kuch...'

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are navigating a tough phase due to the actress' health. After getting a cyst diagnosis within a year of her major tumour surgery, the recent scan of Dipika showed two new dots. However, the couple cannot do anything as they are of a dot shape and they can only monitor it. Shoaib shared the latest update about the same.

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim revealed the actress' recent MRI scan reports

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim have been navigating the toughest time of their lives. The couple often shares their life updates on their YouTube channels. Now, in the latest vlog, Shoaib revealed that Dipika's latest MRI scan report revealed that she was diagnosed with two new dot-sized cysts. However, the cysts are so small that they cannot do anything about them. But the doctors had advised them to keep monitoring it as part of the cancer treatment. The duo added that it has become a part of their life now. However, the whole process is extremely draining as Dipika and Shoaib are parents of a toddler. Dipika said:

"Vo itne chote hai ki unpe koi action lena, doctors ne bola ki ispar action lena is not sensible. Toh ab bahut close scans karne hai taki, agar kuch dubara aata hai toh usko theek kar liya jaaye, jaise abi kara tha."

Shoaib added that this week, Dipika's immunotherapy will start; the doctors had recommended the treatment. They would have to visit the hospital, where the session would be for 3-4 hours. Dipika added that they are trying to make things normal and trying to keep things normal by playing around. Shoaib added that Dipika had also lost 2 kg as she has been having her regular diet. 

Shoaib added that Dipika has changed her lifestyle. But there are a few things: she is not taking care of her sleep, and is not walking right now. She added that she has started it by taking small steps. She also pointed out that if a person is going through an illness, they should consult their doctor and then follow their path. Talking about the MRI scan, Dipika added that she was scared of going inside the machine and started crying as she got anxiety. She was quoted as saying:

"Ghabra rahi thi main… Main royi bhi; machine mein jaaney se pehle bhi royi, aur machine mein bhi royi. Kabhi kabhi rona bohot help karta hain kyuki aapki anxiety nikal jaati hain. Mere liye toh bohot help karti hain."

When Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar talked about the recurrence of cyst

In March 2026, Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that Dipika visited the hospital after she had mild pain in her stomach for two days. However, it aggravated more on Friday night. So, they visited the hospital and got a CT scan, after which Dipika got another cyst of 13 mm. Dipika also added that with the same stomach pain, she started having shoulder pain, which was alarming for them.

It is worth mentioning that Dipika Kakar made her first appearance after the birth of Ruhaan with her participation in the Celebrity MasterChef judged by Farah Khan, Chef Ranveer Brar, and Chef Vikas Khanna. However, she had to leave the show mid-way as she got severe pain in her shoulder. Gaurav Khanna lifted the show's trophy. Talking about her last show, she was seen in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum in 2019. She even made a cameo in Sasural Simar Ka 2.
