David Wilcock Was 'Not Suicidal At All', Old Post Resurfaces Amid Probe, Did He Fake His Own Death?

The mystery surrounding David Wilcock's reported death has taken the internet by storm. The 53-year-old author, UFO expert, filmmaker, and YouTuber, whose research and insights have inspired millions worldwide, reportedly died a self-inflicted death in Boulder County after the officials received a call about a possible "mental health crisis."

While there has been no official confirmation whether the Boulder County Sheriff's report was about Wilcock's death, the alleged suicide narrative has already stirred a heated debate online. His friends and followers say the paranormal expert was never in favour of suicide.

What triggered David Wilcock's death rumours?

The speculation began after a death investigation in Boulder County was made public. On Monday, April 20, 2026, the Boulder County Sheriff's Department reported that a man in the midst of a mental health crisis died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound outside his house near the 1400 block Ridge Road, Colorado. While the identity has yet to be officially revealed, the location details and online posts have left people convinced that it's David Wilcock.

Neither Wilcock’s family nor representatives have publicly verified his death, and the Boulder County officials have not revealed the victim's name. Adding to the buzz, news of the 53-year-old researcher's death was published and reposted by fellow experts and Wilcock's colleagues. Even U.S. representative Anna Paulina Luna wrote a post about Wilcock's death, further intensifying the rumours.

Some say the UFO expert had been struggling after his divorce from his ex-wife, Elizabeth Seraphine. Wilcock's close ones and long-time followers say he had been receiving death threats and was the target of cyberbullying and online attacks, along with some legal issues. An X user @Unexplained2020 wrote:

"In my heart, I still don’t want to believe it. David was always so energetic and positive about life... He had been going through so much, including the Gaia-related legal issues and cyberstalking, online attacks, death threats, and coordinated harassment from critics... Additionally, there are many unresolved issues in David's case that need to be addressed and investigated."

Deputies responded to a 911 call around 10:44 a.m., where the caller was believed to be in a mental health crisis. Upon arrival, officers found a man holding a weapon, who fatally shot himself within minutes, and was pronounced dead. However, amid the ongoing suicide speculation, a December 2022 post attributed to Wilcock has gone viral again. In it, he wrote:

"I plan on LIVING. Not suicidal at all. Just concerned about what happens when you prove God is real."

Given David Wilcock's positive nature and approach towards life and "ascension", the suicide narrative doesn't add up. As soon as reports surfaced that the individual in Boulder County died by "suicide", internet users have brought back Wilcock's old post, arguing that even if David is dead, it was anything but a suicide. Some even hinted at deeper conspiracies behind his demise and demanded that the case be investigated to see if foul play was involved. With Wilcock's recent posts about his "intense" personal challenges, the situation may be more complex than it appears.

Meanwhile, investigative journalist Kerry L. Cassidy brought a fresh angle to Wilcock's death story. She says David is "fine," and he allegedly "faked his death" with the help of the "SSP" (possibly referring to the Social Security Program). Her own "psychic" senses and a fellow psychic discussed the alleged suicide in a YouTube video. Cassidy wrote on X:

"DAVID WILCOCK:  My psychic intuition is that David faked his death with the help of the SSP and is fine. I have one verification from another known psychic on this.   See the following live show recorded within 5 minutes of hearing the announcement. I was interviewing Clan mother and healer Karenann Lucyk MacDonald and part way through the show we focused on David's supposed suicide."
