It was only a few days ago that sources revealed to PEOPLE that David and Victoria tried to mend things with Brooklyn and Nicola, but a recent report suggested that the earlier report was not true! It was only a few days ago when sources revealed to PEOPLE that David and Victoria Beckham repeatedly told Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Pletz to meet them and communicate so things could move forward. The sources also added that Nicola and Brooklyn were even invited by the Beckhams to every event.

Well, now a recent report from the same publication quoted another source to say that there's no truth to the earlier claims of David and Victoria reaching out to Brooklyn and Nicola. The source also claimed that what was said about Brooklyn and Nicola being invited to the Beckham events is also untrue, and neither of the parents has reached out over the course of a year now. The sources could be quoted as saying:

"The claim that Brooklyn and Nicola have been invited to all events and that David and Victoria have made honest efforts to mend things is untrue. Neither parents have reached out to Nicola in almost a year."

Did Brooklyn Beckham block parents, David and Victoria, on social media?

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Pletz's feud with the Beckhams has been grabbing attention for a long time now. Well, it was reported on January 4, 2026, that Brooklyn wanted his parents to connect with him only through the lawyers. He also reportedly wanted his parents not to tag him on social media, which was another reason why Brooklyn seemed to have blocked his parents, as reported. Initially, it was said that Brooklyn, Nicola, David and Victoria unfollowed each other on social media platforms, but later, Brooklyn's brother, Cruz revealed through IG Stories that his mum and dad would never unfollow their kids on social media. 

Did the Beckham feud stem from Nicola Peltz's wedding dress?

Earlier, a source revealed to PEOPLE that the feud has been ongoing for several months now, which reportedly began from Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding, and was over a wedding dress. Reportedly, Victoria wanted to make Nicola's wedding dress, which she never delivered. Nicola was reportedly being tagged as 'brat' for not wearing Victoria Beckham at the wedding, while adding that the former actually wore her mother-in-law's design at many events. It was during Christmas this year, when reports claimed that Victoria planned not to ruin the family's joy and wanted everyone to feel happy this festive season, and that despite someone's absence. She took to her social media and gave a glimpse of the tree, and revealed that her mom (even though Brooklyn isn't present) chose to hang a stocking with his name on it.
