However, the group’s instrumental approach was not loved by Dash and Jim, following which they established another group, The Chimes, with Dave Burgess, a member of The Champs. This was followed by Down Home and Year of Sunday in 1970 and 1971. However, Summer Breeze was their biggest hit in 1972 as it reached the top of the Billboard charts. Their fifth album, Diamond Girl, also received a similar response. Their third most successful album was Greatest Hits, released in 1975.

Seals & Crofts was additionally famous for other albums like Unborn Child, I’ll Play for You, Get Closer, Sudan Village, One on One, Takin’ It Easy, Lote Tree, Collection, The Longest Road, and Traces. Their songs were featured in movies like One on One, Foolin’ Around, Dazed and Confused, King of California, Land of the Lost, and Vacation. Although the group separated in 1992, they went on tours.
