Daria Kasatkina is a famous 28-year-old tennis player. She is known for her impressive playing style and shots on the court. She hails from Russia and started playing the sport at the age of six. She started playing tennis professionally in 2014 and rose to fame within a short time span. But in 2022, she came out as gay. After changing her nationality, she got engaged to Natailia Zabiiako.

Talking about Daria's fiancee, Natailia is also a known name in skating. She is a figure skater who was born on August 15, 1994, in Tallinn, Estonia. The 31-year-old began figure skating from a young age, and got training in 1998. With hard work and focus, she made a name for herself and became a top-level pair skater. She first represented Estonia and later competed for Russia in the international arena.  

Natailia is famously known for her partnership with Alexander Enbert. They had been part of some notable games and won a bronze medal at the 2019 World Championships and another bronze medal at the European Championships. Apart from this, she also made her name at the 2018 Grand Prix of Helsinki and won the NHK trophy and a silver medal as she was part of the Russian team for the 2018 Winter Olympics. 

However, Natailia rose to fame when her relationship with Daria made headlines in 2022. The couple started dating in 2021 and announced their engagement in 2025. Apart from skating, Natailia often shares her life on social media via her YouTube vlogs, which also feature Daria Kasatkina. 

When Daria Kasatkina talked about changing her nationality, as no one would understand her 

Daria had a hard time accepting the truth that the country she was born in, and represented in Tennis, doesn't acknowledge her existence due to her coming out as gay in 2022. Four months after Daria announced her sexuality, the Russian government implemented laws aiming at cracking down on and criminalising homosexuality. Daria, who was already competing under a neutral flag due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, decided to take Australia as her permanent residency in 2025. For Daira, she wanted to live freely as a gay woman, and it was the reason she took Australia as her permanent residency. She was quoted as saying:

"It is tough. Honestly, it was one of my main reasons why I had to make this step and change my nationality because if I wanted to live a free, open life as I wanted, unfortunately I couldn’t do it in Russia. I had to find another place. And I did."
