Dalljiet Kaur found love in Kenya-based businessman, Nikhil Patel. After being in a relationship, the couple decided to get married in March 2023. Her wedding gave hope to many that 'second chances' are the best. However, just before her first wedding anniversary, reports of her divorce have been circulating in the media. According to murmurs, Dalljiet has deleted all her wedding pictures with Nikhil, and she has even dropped his last name from her IG handle.
Dalljiet Kaur's spokesperson issued an official statement on behalf of the actress and addressed the ongoing murmurs of her separation within a year of her marriage. According to ETimes, Dalljiet and her son, Jaydon are in India for the actress' dad's surgery. Her mother is also not well, and she will also undergo surgery. The statement also revealed that Dalljiet doesn't want to give any comment on the divorce murmurs as kids are involved. She has even requested the media to respect her children's privacy.

For the unversed, Dalljiet shifted to Kenya after getting married to Nikhil in a grand wedding ceremony, followed by a grand reception. The actress' official statement by her team can be read as:
"I hereby state that Dalljiet and Jaydon (her son) are in India currently for Dalljiet’s dad's surgery followed by her Maa's surgery as well, which required them to be beside him. In addition to this, I would only like to say that Dalljiet, at the moment, would not like to make any comments on anything because the kids are in the picture. Please respect her kids' privacy and please consider this as the only statement she would like to give out."
Dalljiet's separation news came as a shock, the actress not only deleted her wedding pictures with Nikhil, but she also deleted all the digital traces of her life with him. After the wedding, she would share weekly Vlogs with her husband, Nikhil, and would give a glimpse of her life in Kenya. Her son, Jaydon would also enjoy his life in a new place.
However, one thing that we noticed while scrolling through Dalljiet's YouTube videos was that she had posted her last video in December, wherein she was seen donning mangalsutra and sindoor. In her last video, she expressed how she loves her children and her husband 'a little more than them'.
Dalljiet hosted an 'Ask Me Anything' session on her Instagram handle a while ago. One of her fans asked her, 'Are you pregnant?' To this, the newly married, Dalljiet replied that no, she is not pregnant and neither do they intend to get on that route. Dalljiet further added that they have three children, and they are super happy. Dalljit added that this is the time for them to explore the world and enjoy. She had said:
"No My dear, I am not pregnant and neither do we intend to go on that route. Humare teen bache hai aur hum bahut khush hai. Aur ab toh humari jindagi shuru hui hai. Hume travel karna hai, enjoy karna hai. Hum bahut khush hai. So, sorry but I am not pregnant."
Earlier, in one of the Vlogs on her YouTube channel, Dalljiet shared that her husband, Nikhil, often teases her that she has to get pregnant to remove the chooda. For the unversed, according to Punjabi tradition, a new bride has to wear chooda for a year and a half, and she would only remove it when she would get pregnant. So, Nikhil often joked with Dalljiet that she had to get pregnant to remove it.
On March 22, 2023, Dalljiet Kaur shared a Reel on her IG handle. The video compiled the happiest moments from her wedding with her hubby, Nikhil. Alongside it, Dalljiet penned a heartwarming note and gave 'umeed' to divorced and widowed people. She had a bitter divorce with Shalin and faced domestic violence in her first marriage. She had written:
"Umeed means to Hope. Agar dream karne ki himmat hai to usse poora karne ki bhi hogi. When life pulls you down, and society tries persuading you and giving you a million negative reasons why you shouldn’t do it…. that’s exactly why you should!"
