Cha Chung Hwa tied the knot with her non-celebrity husband on October 27, 2023. Cha Chung Hwa's agency requested privacy for the couple as the Song Of The Bandits actress' husband did not want attention and limelight. Hence, the couple had a low-key wedding.

Though Cha Chung Hwa's wedding was a hush-hush affair, the wedding pictures looked nothing short of a fairytale. The Crash Landing On You actress looked ethereal in the wedding pictorial shared by her agency, IOK Company. Talking about Cha Chung Hwa's wedding, her agency further added:
"Please give lots of blessings to Cha Chung Hwa, who is preparing for a new start. Cha Chung Hwa, who always acts with sincerity, plans to repay [viewers] with great acting as an actress in the future, so please give her lots of support and interest."
In the pictures, Cha Chung Hwa donned two different wedding gowns. One was a sweetheart neckline frilly tulle gown. While the other was a full-sleeved mermaid-style lace high-neck gown. Cha Chung Hwa looked equally breathtaking in both her wedding pictorial attires.

Cha Chung Hwa's agency demanded complete privacy on her wedding as her non-celebrity husband did not want to reveal his identity. But in one of the pictures, we get a glimpse of him. In the picture, Cha Chung Hwa is shyly smiling as her husband has his face towards her.
