As per a report by People Magazine, Jon Pardi's wife, Summer was once a professional hairstylist in California. Reportedly, she spent more than a decade (nearly 13 years) working in the beauty industry and even had her own business named Tangled Salon and Spa. It is worth mentioning that it was Summer's career that introduced her to the love of her life, country singer, Jon Pardi.
Summer and Jon Pardi met on a blind date planned by the former’s client
Jon and Summer's love story began unexpectedly in 2017. At that time, one of Summer's loyal clients set her up for a blind date with the singer. That client was a close friend of Jon's mother, who passed his number to Summer. Years later, Summer sat down for an interview, during which she said:
"I have been a hairstylist for 13 years, and with that, you become family with your clients, so they know all the good, bad and ugly of your life. My client Ellen Moxley has been lifelong friends with Jon's mom, and after a few of my failed attempts at dating, she called one day to tell me about a guy she knew very well from California. My girlfriends all convinced me I had nothing to lose. So I flew out there with a girlfriend, just in case it went south."
When they met, both Jon and Summer felt an instant connection. They have often shared that it was love at first sight. It is worth mentioning that Summer once shared that a few minutes after meeting Jon, she texted her mom saying that she was completely sure of him and wanted to be with him. Jon also appreciated her and explained that they have a lot of fun together.

After dating for a while, the country singer popped the question to his ladylove in 2019. However, he made sure to make the moment memorable, not just for them but also for his fans. During his whistle-worthy Heartache Medication Tour at Ryman Auditorium, Jon invited Summer on stage and then went down on his knees.
It is worth mentioning that only Summer's father and a few friends knew about the proposal. The proposal was even more special as the couple had their first date at the same location. The next year, in 2020, the couple got married. Even though their initial plan was to marry in May 2026, it got pushed to November 2020. Reportedly, they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony held at Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Ever since their wedding, both Jon and Summer have stood by each other through good and bad times. They starred in a series together. Apart from this, the hairstylist also appeared in Jon's music video, Heartache Medication. In their personal lives, in 2023, they embraced parenthood with the birth of their daughter, Presley Fawn Pardi. Later, in 2024, they welcomed another daughter, Sienna Grace Pardi.

On July 3, 2026, Summer and Jon announced their divorce by sharing a joint Instagram post. Even though they did not reveal the reason behind their separation, they made it clear that their daughters will always be their priority. They concluded their short yet heartbreaking note by asking for support and respect from their fans. Their note can be read as:
"After much thought, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. Our daughters will always remain our highest priority and we are committed to moving forward with love and respect as co-parents. Thank you so much for your understanding, support, and respect as we navigate these changes as a family."
