Corey Feldman Says He's On 'Bed Rest' After Medical Emergency At LAX, Here's What Happened To Him

The morning of June 16, 2026 (ET) left Feldman fans worried after the actor was reportedly hospitalised the night prior. At the time, not much was known about the sudden need for medical attention, but fans flooded social media with wishes for Corey Feldman's recovery. Now, hours later, new information on his hospitalisation has surfaced.

Corey Feldman's publicist shares an update on the actor's health

Corey Feldman was discharged from the hospital after spending the night at the hospital. While initially the reports only stated that he was hospitalised on June 15, 2026 (ET), due to a medical emergency he'd experienced while on a flight, now his publicist has revealed what happened to the actor. Talking to USA TODAY on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 (ET), Feldman's publicist revealed that the Goonies and The Lost Boys actor is "doing much better and is now out of the hospital."

In a statement to the news outlet, Corey Feldman's publicist revealed that the reason for his hospitalisation was "a really bad case of food poisoning". The publicist revealed that the actor is looking forward to recovering in the run-up to the release of his latest single, What Am I Here 4, out June 22, 2026 (ET). They shared that Feldman wants to put up his best performance for the show that is set to happen in  Southern California, July 25, 2026 and July 26, 2026 (ET), to celebrate his birthday. He further stated:

"Corey wants to thank everyone for all of the love and well-wishes. He has definitely seen a lot of the messages and really appreciates everything."

It was in the early hours of June 17, 2026 (ET), when Corey Feldman took to his X account and confirmed he was hospitalised. In a tweet, he thanked everyone "for the #love and concern today. It was definitely scary, and I'm here in the hospital. It's true, but I think I'll be ok, all signs look good as of now. I’ll update you when I know more! However, today there was a big set of announcements that kinda got overshadowed", the actor explained while announcing the upcoming project. He once again took to X later on June 17, 2026 (ET) and shared an update which read:

"GREAT NEWS #EVERYBODY I'M ALIVE!! I'M OUT OF THE HOSPITAL AND HOME ON BED REST! THANK YOU ALL FOR THE #LOVE & SUPPORT! SERIOUSLY! I HAVEN'T FELT THIS LOVED IN A LONG TIME! HENCE MY UPCOMING SINGLES TITLE #WHATAMIHERE4?"

The former child star, Corey Feldman, was met by paramedics after landing at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday, June 15, 2026, (ET), and was transported to a hospital. According to reports, he was travelling home after spending some time in the Midwest. While the initial buzz around his hospitalisation left fans concerned, they were relieved to know that he was doing okay.
