According to reports, the duo shares an age gap of 14 years. It is worth mentioning that over the years, Nolan has had a fair share of ups and downs in her love life. Her tumultuous marriage with Shane Richie was once the talk of the town. Now, in a candid conversation, Coleen hits back at trolls who criticized her age-gap romance with Ryan.

Recently, Coleen Nolan appeared on Good Morning Britain and opened up about her relationship with Ryan Brockbank. For the unversed, the Loose Women panelist and her boyfriend, Ryan, made their relationship Insta-official in August 2026. According to reports, the couple dated quietly for several months before making their relationship public.
Speaking with host Ed Balls, Coleen said that she and Ryan are very happy together and deeply in love. The Loose Women panelist shared that she never expected to find love again after appearing on Celebs Go Dating. She had almost given up on dating and decided she wouldn't try dating apps anymore. Coleen believed that if she was meant to meet someone special, it would happen naturally through fate. That’s when she met Ryan. She said:
"We are very, very, very much together, and very much in love."
During the same conversation, Ed Balls asked Coleen whether her family accepted Ryan. In response, the Loose Women panelist dismissed the claims that her family was concerned about her and her relationship with Ryan. Coleen shared how much they like Ryan. She mentioned that her children and other family members approved of their relationship. She then slammed trolls who criticized her age-gap romance with Ryan. She said:
"He's 14 years younger, not 20. They're fixated on 20 years younger. 14's bad enough."
Further, in the candid conversation, Coleen shared how they met. She mentioned Ryan in one of the episodes of Celeb Go Dating featuring her. Previously, he didn’t watch the show, and after he watched her on the show, he was fully impressed by her. Ryan then texted Coleen on social media. She usually does not respond to messages on social media. But Ryan was an exception. Recalling the moment, Coleen said:
"It just carried on, and it was almost instant."
Coleen is reportedly planning to sell her six-acre countryside farm in Dilhorne, Staffordshire, and move to London to be closer to Ryan. She is also finding new homes for her farm animals because she wants to downsize. The couple got matching tattoos to express their commitment to each other. Their tattoos read 'UNTIL THE END'. Earlier, in a September 2026 episode of Loose Women, Coleen revealed her tattoo.
It was Ryan’s idea to get inked. However, it was a joke to which Coleen agreed immediately, and they went ahead with the idea. Coleen, who is currently in her 60s, wants to live her life on her own terms.
