Now, after one month, Cindy and her daughter, Kaia, paid a heartfelt tribute to Presley.
Cindy Crawford pens a heart-wrenching note for her son, Presley
A while back, Cindy Crawford took to her Instagram handle to share a monochrome picture of Presley. Along with the picture, the model penned a heart-wrenching note for her son. It is worth noting that it was Cindy’s first post on Instagram after her son’s untimely death.
In the note, Cindy expressed her grief and shared that they are heartbroken to lose Presley. She mentioned that they feel blessed to have had Presley in their lives for 27 years. She added that Presley was a sweet, beautiful soul. An excerpt of Cindy’s note can be read as:
"He is a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever. We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability. Til we meet our sweet boy again. We love you forever, Mom, Dad, and Kaia."
Presley’s sister, Kaia, also shared an emotional note. She shared a carousel, wherein the text images described the grief that Kaia has been carrying since Presley passed away. She admitted that she could not find words to express her grief. She mentioned that being Presley's sister has always been her favorite thing, and it will remain so forever.
She remembered Presley as someone who always believed that people were good at heart. When people treated him badly, he did not immediately respond with anger. Instead, he tried to understand why they behaved that way. Kaia shared that she believes he was able to see goodness in others because he himself was a genuinely good person.
Kaia called Presley her greatest teacher because he taught her an important lesson: even when life is painful and people can be cruel, a person can choose to remain gentle and kind. She described this as the most powerful thing he ever did. Recalling a childhood memory when she was frightened before getting her ears pierced, Kaia added how Presley helped her to feel less scared.
In the same note, Kaia wrote that whenever she felt scared, Presley was the first one to stand beside her. However, after his death, when she held the earring that had been removed from Presley’s body, she realized that it belonged to her brother, who was no longer alive. That’s when she made her wish that he had not gone first this time. She wrote:
"My best buddy, my great protector, the hardest I've ever laughed and the one true love of my life - you lit all of my candles and took all of my monsters away. And I love you."

A day after his untimely demise on September 21, 2026, an insider told Page Six that Presley felt like he was lacking purpose in his life.
According to the insider, the 27-year-old Presley seemed a little off in recent weeks. Presley, who followed in the footsteps of his mother, Cindy, and his sister, Kaia, into modeling, had not found his place. The insider added that Presley didn’t really know where he wanted to go and what he wanted to do.
