ChudTheBuilder Detained After Clarksville Courthouse Shooting, 'Racism' Row Sparks Criticism

Viral Kick streamer, ChudTheBuilder, was detained again after a courthouse fight in Tennessee reportedly led to an accidental shooting injuring him and one other person.

ChudTheBuilder Detained After Clarksville Courthouse Shooting, 'Racism' Row Sparks Criticism

Controversial streamer, Dalton Eatherly, better known as ChudTheBuilder, has once again landed in trouble after he was involved in a shooting incident outside a courthouse in Clarksville, Tennessee. The incident took place just a couple of days after the streamer was taken into custody in Nashville. Notably, he was accused of refusing to pay a restaurant bill and creating chaos at the time. Once the authority confirmed the news, it went viral, and internet users accused him of making an alleged racist remark. 

What was ChudTheBuilder arrested after the courthouse conflict? 

According to a statement from the Tennessee District Attorney General's Office, a shooting incident occurred outside a Clarksville courthouse. Authorities confirmed that two men were injured during the conflict. In turn, they were immediately taken for treatment. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office later stated that the area was secured and no longer posed a danger to the public. However, officials did not reveal how the fight began or whether criminal charges would follow.

Meanwhile, social media account FearBuck, known for covering steamer-related controversies, claimed that the fight increased after ChudTheBuilder allegedly made a racist remark towards another man. According to the account, ChudTheBuilder told the man to "chimp out", following which the individual reportedly punched him. FearBuck also alleged that ChudTheBuilder accidentally fired his gun during the fight, causing a bullet to graze his arms. However, these claims have not been verified by law enforcement agencies. For those unaware, ChudTheBuilder became famous for livestreaming "IRL" content about confrontations in public confrontations.

Incidentally, one of ChudTheBuilder's recent posts on X has gone viral online. It was shared only hours before the courthouse incident. In the post, the streamer spoke about race, freedom of speech, and discrimination. In his words:

"This app gave me a voice when no one else would. I pray you continue to stand on objective freedom, no matter the race. We should all have the same right to free speech regardless of what colour my skin is."

What happened during the Courthouse incident?

Until now, the authorities have not released a complete version of events. But the shooting reportedly took place during a physical fight between ChudTheBuilder and another man outside the court. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office confirmed that both people suffered injuries. But, they did not clarify if the injuries were gunshot-related or caused during the fight itself.

Meanwhile, social media reports claimed that firearms were discharged accidentally when the men were physically struggling. Some photos allegedly showing ChudTheBuilder entering an ambulance also went viral after the incident. But, until now, the authorities have not informed whether there was any weapon found or any extra arrested.

ChudTheBuilder has been arrested twice in one week for conflict in public

The Courthouse incident occurred less than a week after ChudTheBuilder was taken into custody in Nashville. Even then, he was arrested after a conflict at Bob's Steak and Chop House incident at the Omni Hotel. According to the reports cited by The Tennessean, restaurant staff repeatedly asked the streamer to stop livestreaming inside the venue. But authorities claimed the situation escalated after ChudTheBuilder refused to pay for his food and drinks, totalling USD 371.

The police documents revealed that he told restaurant staff, "I am not paying if you are kicking me out", before leaving. Later, when officials tried to arrest him, they claimed he briefly resisted them. ChudTheBuilder pulled away but was ultimately charged with theft of services, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. After spending 13 hours at the police station, he was released. Sharing his side of the story, ChudTheBuilder penned on X: 

"FBI and domestic terrorist detectives interviewed me for about 2 hours before they took me for booking. No, sir, I'm just a dude with a camera."
