Christina Pazsitzky reveals she and Tom Segura tried to make things work for years
Christina Pazsitzky choked back tears as she spoke about her "extremely sad" divorce from Tom Segura. The podcaster appeared on the August 5, 2026 (ET) episode of Your Mom's House podcast and detailed what went down between her and Tom. Christina, while keeping the details to herself, revealed that they tried working on their relationship for a long time before calling it quits. She was quoted as saying:
"Yes, Tom and I are divorcing, and it is extremely sad. That being said, we have tried to work it out for several years for the sake of our children and our family. We gave it all we could, but we just couldn't work things out. Look, we had 20 amazing years together. That's a really good run, I think, in a marriage. We created [the podcast], we have comedy careers [and] most importantly created a family."

Christina Pazsitzky also shared a message for her audience
While this is a difficult moment for Christina Pazsitzky and Tom Segura as a family, the fans who have followed the couple for years were also left heartbroken by their separation. In the episode, the comedian explained that she wanted to directly address her podcast audience because they have supported her through so many stages of life. She was quoted as saying:
"For those of you who have listened to us since the very beginning, we've been through Tom and I getting married and moving to Silver Lake and being two broke comics. We've been through births and deaths, tragic accidents, cancer, COVID, all the things. I want you to know that I'm still your mom and I'm still here and we will survive."
Further in the conversation, Christina Pazsitzky assured her fans that they will get through this phase of their lives as well. She also asserted that the divorce is "amicable" and begged fans not to be "Team Christina" or "Team Tom." She was quoted as saying:
"We will get through this bulls—t like we've gotten through everything else in life. This is just an unfortunate thing. This is not an ugly divorce. We're cool, dude. It's been 20 f—king years, and we met in our 20s. Like, we met as kids. So, you know, people change. It's just one of those things."

She concluded the conversation by revealing that she and Tom Segura have vacationed in London together with their children since separating. She revealed that they are NOT at each other's throats and still "a family in many regards. He and I have such a good rapport from being together for 20 years." She further revealed how she has received several DMs from men interested in her since the announcement, but while she is flattered, she is "not f—king there yet."
Earlier in July 2026, it was revealed that she and Tom Segura, who have been married for 18 years, separated within the last couple of months, but are "completely amicable." The estranged pair share two sons named Ellis and Julian, who were born in 2016 and 2018, respectively.
