The 42-year-old actor tied the knot with his partner in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, in a private ceremony. His MCU colleagues, including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner, were present to celebrate their friend's wedding.
New details about the relationship between Chris Evans and Alba Baptista have been uncovered following their recent private wedding ceremony. The Captain America star gave insights into his personal life and new chapter away from film sets in a recent GQ interview, which took place prior to the couple's Massachusetts wedding. He said:
"I haven't worked all year and I don't plan to, which has been lovely. My girlfriend that I've had for a while, when we began dating...I was like: 'Yeah, I do one movie a year. I try to never work now.' And then, after like a few months of dating, boom, guess what? We're living in Atlanta for a year. Get ready. And even when that year was happening, I was like, man, never again."

The couple, Chris Evans and Alba Baptista, fuelled rumours of a romantic relationship in 2021 when Baptista followed some of Evans' family members on Instagram. They have since been seen together on several occasions and went public with their relationship in November 2022. Evans even shared a sweet throwback video of the couple celebrating their time together in 2022. Evans has even praised Baptista's ability to read people's energies. He said:
“My girlfriend’s really big into people’s energies and first impressions. I’m not so much because I feel that I don’t always give off the same thing out of the gate. So, I try to reserve judgment.”
In the same GQ interview, the handsome Captain America actor, Chris Evans, hinted that he may or may not return to play his iconic role as MCU’s ‘Captain America’. He said:
“Yeah, maybe. I’ll never say never, just because it was such a wonderful experience. But I’m also very precious with it. It’s something that I am very proud of. And like I said, sometimes I can’t believe it even happened. And I wouldn’t want the black eye if it felt like a cash grab or if it didn’t live up to expectations or if it just felt like it wasn’t connected to that original thing. So, no time soon.”
