Mahir Pandhi is an Indian television actor who rose to fame with his hit serial, Choti Sarrdaarni, opposite Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. Apart from Choti Sardaarni, Mahir has been part of a TV serial, Vanshaj and web series, Bebaakee, Pawan & Pooja and more. After working for nearly half a decade in Indian TV shows, Mahir considered expanding his career to foreign countries.
Mahir Pandhi is all set to debut with his Thai film, Congrats My Ex! The movie will be released worldwide on November 23, 2023. Along with Mahir, the film features Anahita Bhooshan, Ranee Campen and Thai heartthrob, Vachirawit Chivaaree, aka Bbrightvc, in lead roles.

Though it is a Thai film with the majority of its cast being foreigners, the film, Congrats My Ex! exudes major Bollywood vibe. The film has scenes depicting a typical big fat Indian wedding and has accordingly dressed the entire cast in Indian attires, which is a treat to the eyes.
The film features Mahir Pandhi in a prominent role, and alongside him is Anahita Bhoosan, who is also an Indian. The duo add major desi feels to the film, be it in terms of their accent, dance moves or the backdrop. Anahita has previously been a part of the Indian TV serial, Baalveer Returns. Congrats My Ex! is a namesake Thai film which is dominated and heavily influenced by Indians and their culture.

The chaotic story of Congrats My Ex! revolves around Indian weddings. Here, a wedding planner, Bella Ranee Campen, is on the verge of bankruptcy and hence takes up an Indian wedding of her ex, Mahir Pandhi. To save her face at the wedding, Bella teams up with her other ex, bbrightvc, for the wedding preps. The chaotic love story is all over the place as the trio engages in a turbulent wedding experience.
