On the fateful day of June 7, 2020, the South Indian film industry had lost one of its shiniest gems, actor, Chiranjeevi Sarja. His death had not only shaken the entire glamour world but had made his wife, Meghana Sarja’s world upside down. Meghana, who was pregnant with his child at that time and was dreaming of beginning a family, was shattered to the core. However, she had gathered the broken pieces of her heart and had begun the second innings of her life for the sake of their child.
It was on June 7, 2020, when Chiranjeevi Sarja had taken his last breath at the mere age of 39 after he had suffered a cardiac arrest. Four months after Chiranjeevi’s death, Meghana had given birth to a baby boy on October 22, 2020, and had named him Raayan Raj Sarja. Since then, Raayan had become the reason for her existence.

June 7, 2022, marks two years of Chiranjeevi’s death and his wife, Meghana penned an emotional note remembering him. She took to her IG handle and posted a throwback picture with him, in which the two looked adorable as they had smiled for the camera. Along with the picture, a grief-stricken, Meghana wrote:
“You and me … for eternity, there never was one like you, and there will be none like you… YOU, CHIRU… the ONE and ONLY. LOVE YOU .”
There is no single day when Meghana doesn’t remember her late husband, Chiranjeevi as she often posts throwback memories of their blissful life. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Meghana Raj had talked about the heartbreaking day of June 7, 2020, and had said:
“See for me, till June 7, life had been a certain way from my childhood as I wanted but the universe had a different message. One day, everything changed and if something that drastically changed, something again might change drastically for me as well. Especially when you have welcomed a child, something so innocent, raring to go, eager about life, why will I live with a mindset that this is not going to get better? How can it not get better, of course, it has to, I have Chiru's child with me, it has obviously had to get."

Chiranjeevi Sarja had hailed from a family of actors and had begun his acting career in 2009 with his uncle, Kishore Sarja’s directorial film, Vayuputra. On April 30, 2018, Chiranjeevi had married actress, Meghana Raj in a Christian wedding which was followed by a traditional Hindu ceremony.
