A few days back, the whole nation was shocked to see Indian actress, Nidhi Agarwal getting mobbed at Hyderabad's Lulu Mall for the song launch of her upcoming film, The Raja Saab, co-starring Prabhas. Now, a similar kind of incident happened, and this time it was The Family Man 2 actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Samantha was in Jubilee Hills for the inauguration of a store when she was mobbed by a huge crowd. Now, playback singer, Chinmayi Sripada slammed trolls who criticised her security team.

What happened to Nidhi Agarwal and Samantha Ruth Prabhu?

On December 18, 2025, a video featuring Nidhi Agarwal went viral when she was seen struggling to get to her car. She looked visibly uncomfortable as a huge crowd of men mobbed her. The shocking incident took place when Nidhi Agarwal and her co-star, Prabhas, were at Hyderabad's Lulu Mall for the launch of a song, Sahana Sahana, from their upcoming film, The Raja Saab. The song launch event soon turned chaotic when hundreds and thousands of fans gathered to take a look at the stars. Soon, the situation got out of hands leading to a breach in Nidhi's personal space.

A similar kind of incident took place in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills, when Samantha Ruth Prabhu went there to inaugurate a silk saree shop. However, when word of her arrival spread, a huge crowd gathered to have a look at the actress. Soon after the videos of Samantha being visibly uncomfortable trying to push back the crowd and reach her vehicle surfaced online, her security team came under public scrutiny. Both incidents have left many people in shock, who also raised questions regarding security measures for stars.

After Samantha getting mobbed at Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills made headlines, netizens started blaming her security team for not being able to protect her properly. A user took to their X (formerly Twitter) handle and shared the video of Samantha getting mobbed. Sharing the clip, the user wrote, "Reflects lack of civic sense, #actress and team must take better precautions." Soon, other users reacted to it and flooded the comment section.

A user wrote, "First, they are not fans. What they are doing to a Women is not acceptable in society. They all should be booked under harassment. No ifs, no buts." Another user commented, "This is concerning. Public admiration should never cross into personal space. Safety and basic civic sense matter." A third user penned, "Too bad security should take care." A fourth user wrote, "Lack of proper security arrangements is also a reason."

On December 22, 2025, Samantha’s friend and Indian playback singer, Chinmayi Sripada, took to her X handle and slammed trolls who criticised The Family Man 2 actress’s security team. In the note, Chinmayi mentioned that Samantha's security team member, Arya, was seen safeguarding her. She pointed out that the security team member might have got several bruises while he tried to protect Samantha. She ended the note by saying it’s not an actress’s job to control a mob of humans who don’t have basic civic sense. She was quoted as saying:

"The actress’s team, including her team member, Arya, is literally safeguarding her with his entire person. He must have been left with several bruises at the very least. Controlling a mob of humans who don’t know basic civil behaviour is not an actress’s job."
