Chhavi Mittal, apart from having a successful career in the television world, is also a loving wife to her husband, Mohit Hussein and a doting mother to her two kids, who fought cancer with utmost bravery. She is an avid social media user and often shares updates regarding her health on her Instagram handle to keep her massive fanbase informed.
From keeping her medical treatment at ease with dancing to encouraging other cancer patients with her motivational journey to flaunting her surgery scar like a diva, Chhavi has surely shown everyone that she is a real-life hero. Now, recently she was slammed by a netizen who claimed that she has been gaining sympathy using her cancer story. Here's how Chhavi reacted to it.
On July 4, 2022, Chhavi took to her Instagram handle and shared a video where she can be seen talking about how she reacted when she first got the biopsy report. She revealed that fear or panic wasn't her first reaction. She further mentioned that she knew this was real and wanted to face it bravely. However, there was one social media user who dropped into her video and made a nasty comment, slamming her. She wrote, "Ohh you are again here to gain some sympathy and PR", along with a laughing emoji.
To this, Chhavi Mittal reacted with kindness and strictness. A few hours ago, she shared the screenshot of the comment and penned a long note dedicating it to all of her haters. It can be read as:
"This comment was there on my post yesterday where I talked about how I braced the cancer news… sitting amongst lots of other beautiful comments. Supriya, I didn't choose cancer, it chose me. The emotional trauma that a cancer survivor goes through cannot be expressed in words or gestures. Even the ones closest to them cannot fathom it. And you can't even imagine the courage it takes me to speak about it on a public forum. Although the courage you have shown to troll a cancer fighter is also pretty commendable."
Going further in the caption, Chhavi added that she couldn't imagine how people like these haters can feel so much hatred and negativity inside. Praying for them, she ended her note:
"And just like you cannot imagine my thoughts behind doing this… even I can’t imagine the amount of trauma you must have gone through in your life to feel feelings of this extent of negativity. Just like I share everything else on social media, I will share my prayer for you here too. May you get peace within."
Surely, Chhavi is an inspiration to all!
