Charu Asopa’s married life with her hubby, Rajeev Sen might have had turbulence in between, but the two had overcome the issues and are now finally happy together. It was Susmita Sen, who had confirmed the relationship of her tall-handsome brother, Rajeev Sen with stunning TV actress, Charu Asopa. It was on June 16, 2019, that the lovebirds had gotten married as per Bengali and Rajasthani rituals in a dreamy Goan destination wedding. Post an unhappy phase in their lives, the two are finally happy together and to bring in New Year, Charu has joined her in-laws in Dubai. Earlier a report by ETimes had claimed that Sushmita Sen, her boyfriend, Rohman Shawl and her kids, Renee and Alisah were in Dubai for a long vacation. Another report had suggested that Sushmita Sen’s brother, Rajeev Sen and his wife, Charu Asopa will also be joining them. This will be the couple's first romantic getaway after their marriage had hit a rough patch some time ago. And now, the reports are proved right as Charu and Rajeev have joined the Sen family in Dubai and have been painting the town red with their love.
Taking to her IG handle, Charu has been sharing a series of pictures from her Dubai vacation with her husband, Rajeev and sister-in-law, Sushmita Sen. However, the recent ones became our favourite as it was all about family love. Charu shared a series of pictures with her in-laws on her IG handle. In some pictures, she can be seen hugging her nanad, Sushmita Sen, in others, she can be seen hugging her mother-in-law, while twinning with her in red. Charu also posed with her nanad’s daughter and together they made for perfect family moments. Sharing the pictures, Charu wrote, “Last week of 2020.. Charu Asopa is playing the role of daughter-in-law perfectly and never fails to shower love on her in-laws. On Alisah’s birthday on August 28, 2020, her mami, Charu Asopa had penned a beautiful wish for her. Taking to her IG handle, Charu had posted a picture with Alisah, where the two could be seen pouting. Along with the picture, Charu had written, “Happy Birthday to this beauty with brains… Alisah. May god give you all the happiness.. Charu mami loves you” followed by a heart emoticon atop it. While Alisah’s Charu mami had shared a picture with her, her mamu, Rajeev Sen had shared a video, where the two could be seen playing badminton at a fort in Jaipur. Charu had also wished her sasur ji on his birthday on December 19, 2020. Taking to her IG handle, Charu had shared a series of unseen pictures from her wedding ceremonies with her dearest sasur ji, Shubeer Sen. Sharing how her father-in-law never discriminated between her and her nanad, Sushmita Sen and hubby, Rajeev Sen, she had wished him on his birthday. She had written, “As a daughter in law I want something from you as inheritance – your patience, understanding, and wisdom. Thank you for never letting the words ‘in-law’ get between our beautiful relationship. You never treat me differently than didi and Raja. U treat me as your third child. And I love u for that baba. May you have a long and healthy life. May you get all the happiness. Happy bday baba. @sensubir.”
While Charu is close to her in-laws, she still doesn’t want to be known as Sushmita Sen’s bhabhi. In an interview with Tellychakkar, Charu had talked about her unwillingness to be associated with her nanad, Sushmita Sen as she wants to be recognised for her work. She was asked if it's easy for her in the industry because she's associated with Bollywood actress, Sushmita Sen and her brother, Rajeev Sen. The actress had replied, "Being associated with prominent names of the industry always creates a lot of chit-chat and banter amidst a lot of people. I think it's sad for people to think that way. I work really hard, and my passion for my art of acting is the one I follow. I truly believe I should be recognised for my work as an actor and not the people I am associated with."
