The dress featured a skin-toned bodice with nipple-piercing and intricate tattoos. The dress featured a burgundy material from the faux piercing to the floor. The dress was inspired by Thierry Mugler’s spring 1998 Jeu de Paume couture collection. No sooner did her look become the talk of the town than the gorgeous singer made it to the headlines with the controversies surrounding her.

Now, reacting to the same, Chappell Roan revealed that she has been giggling. In the caption of the post, she shared that she is not able to stop giggling because she doesn't feel that this has been such an outrageous outfit. She shared that she personally feels that her look is awesome and weird, while asking people to exercise their free will. Calling it fun and silly, Chappell Roan penned:

"Giggling because I don’t even think this is THAT outrageous of an outfit. The look’s actually so awesome and weird. I recommend just exercising your free will it’s really fun and silly :D Thank you for having me @grammys and those who voted for me!!"

When Chappell Roan had her hands on Grammy

While speaking, she mentioned that it's clear that artists got labels, but she wonders if the labels got the artists back. Speaking more about the same, Chapell Roan mentioned that record labels need to treat their artists as valuable employees with a livable wage and health insurance and protection. She said:

"I told myself that if I ever won a Grammy and got to stand up here before the most powerful people in music, I would demand that labels in the industry profiting millions of dollars off of artists would offer a livable wage and health care, especially to developing artists."

This is not the first time Chappell Roan has made headlines amid controversies; she often sparks controversy and gossip. It was back in 2024, when she decided to set some boundaries with her fans, and while she received appreciation and support, some found it rude. Apart from that, the singer again grabbed the attention with her refusal to endorse Kamala Harris during the 2024 elections, saying 'both sides are bad'.
