Cardi B Reaches Out To Her Estranged Husband, Offset After He Was Shot, Amid Their Messy Divorce

Cardi B's ex-husband, Offset, is currently going through the toughest phase of his life. For the unversed, the rapper was recently shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in Florida. Even though he was instantly rushed to the hospital, reports claim that his wounds were not very harmful. Amid such a tense environment, his estranged wife, Cardi B has come forward and reached out to him soon after the incident, despite their messy divorce.

Cardi B is concerned for her ex-husband, Offset after he was shot

According to a recent report by TMZ, Cardi B, who is currently on her tour, soon reached out to her estranged husband soon after she got to know about the shocking incident that happened with Offset. For the unversed, Cardi B and Offset got married in 2017, and filed for divorce in 2024; however, according to TMZ, it has still not been finalised. 

Offset’s health condition

If reports are to be believed, Offset is still in the hospital and is recovering from the injuries. Some sources claim that the rapper is stable, conscious and around good people. However, it is worth mentioning that the entire incident has concerned the rapper's fans. However, not much details are out about the same.

Cardi B and Offset’s on-and-off relationship

Coming to the relationship of Cardi B and Offset, the two were once the most loved and talked-about pair. Reportedly, the two met around 2016, and soon connected. By 2017, they began dating. Over the next few months, Cardi B and Offset often appeared at public events and fans loved their chemistry. In September 2017, the couple secretly tied the knot. 

It is worth mentioning that Cardi B and Offset initially kept their marriage private; however, it was during a concert, when Offset publicly proposed to his ladylove. In 2018, the two welcomed their first child. In the same year, they parted ways citing trust issues, only to reconcile later. Two years later, in 2020, Cardi B filed for divorce, but they got back together again.

Despite trying a lot, Cardi B filed for divorce in 2024, and the legal battle is still going on. It is worth mentioning that Cardi B and Offset have three children together. Even though reports claim that they are having a messy divorce, the duo continues to co-parent their three children. In the past few months, both Cardi B and Offset have spoken about their broken marriage.

When Cardi B opened up about her relationship with Offset

In 2025, during a X (formerly Twitter) live, Cardi B opened up about her messy and draining relationship with rapper, Offset. She revealed that even though she gave multiple chances to Offset, the situation kept getting worse. Further, she also stated that her relationship ended not just because of cheating but also due to constant lies and drama. Cardi B also took therapy. She was quoted as saying:

"I don't think people understand how tired I was. How tired, how mentally drained I was. Drained, drained, drained. Couldn't eat. I was getting frequent headaches. I was literally losing my mind. I was literally losing my mind. And I gave it chances after chances after chances after chances after chances after chances. I was going to end up going to jail, because I was going to end up killing them. Seriously, with my own bare hands. Because it was just getting so … it was just getting too much."
