English model and actress, Cara Delevingne is making headlines for all things personal. Recently, Cara confirmed a long-time rumour around her dating life. For the unversed, during a candid conversation, Cara revealed that she had a complicated romantic relationship with Johnny Depp’s ex-wife, Amber Heard. There has been longstanding speculation that the model had a romantic affair with Amber as she was divorcing Johnny.

Amber and Johnny made their relationship official in October 2011. They got married in February 2015. Later, in May 2016, Amber filed for divorce from Johnny Depp. They reached a divorce settlement of USD 7 million in August 2016. During the recent conversation, Cara confirmed that she and Amber had been in a relationship after the latter got divorced from Johnny. Cara Delevingne’s name was never mentioned in the UK and US lawsuits filed by Johnny Depp. However, the English model found herself at the centre of a legal drama, when one of Amber’s former friend's husband, Josh Drew, testified that he believed that Amber had a love affair with Cara while she was still married to Johnny. He also claimed that both Cara and Amber had a threesome with trillionaire, Elon Musk at Johnny’s Los Angeles home. Josh alleged that he didn’t witness any of this and his statements were based on what he’d been told.

Recently, Cara appeared on The Louis Theroux Podcast. During the conversation with host, Louis Theroux, Cara shared that she was working with Johnny and Amber on the film, London Fields, before the pair’s divorce. The English model alleged that at the time, Johnny was jealous about her and Amber’s bonding. 

Cara then clarified that back then nothing happened. Later, when Johnny and Amber parted ways, she and the latter had a romantic relationship. Cara added that after Amber’s divorce from Johnny, she also dated other people and subtly confirmed her romance with Elon Musk. In her words:

"Nothing was happening at that point. Later, after they divorced, it had, I suppose. We were close for a long time. Then when they were going through the divorce, yeah, we were entangled. She was also entangled with other people."

After her split from Johnny, Amber dated Elon Musk for about a year between 2017 and 2018. While, Josh Drew’s claim about Cara, Amber and Elon having a threesome gained momentum online, the trillionaire denied the claim. Elon mentioned that he, Cara and Amber were friends but they were never intimate.

Cara Delevingne wants to have her own family

Further in the conversation with host, Louis Theroux, Cara expressed her wish to have her own family. The model explained that she doesn’t want to have kids to fix anything, but she thinks that it would really heal some parts of her. She was quoted as saying:

"I definitely don't want to have kids to fix anything, but I think it will really heal parts of myself that have a tough time having sympathy for the kid I was. Because I've done a lot of work with that and imagining a little kid going through the things I saw or went through, I couldn't imagine that."

Soon after Cara confirmed her romance with Amber, netizens flooded the comment section. A user wrote on Reddit, "I'm not surprised. Amber said time and time again that he was jealous and insecure with her bisexuality/attraction to women, with even his former psychiatrist confirming it several times." 

Another user penned, "Can you imagine what would have happened with the media and Depp Stans if this had come out during the trial? It would have been horrendous for both Amber and Cara, and it makes perfect sense that they wouldn't give any public hint that they were in a relationship at the time." Another comment read:

"Many of Depp's ex-partners have talked about his crazy jealousy in interviews. I see it as part of the issue that male jealousy is usually depicted as passionate and only female jealousy is considered crazy, that all these hints that he was problematic, with proof out in the open, were completely dismissed when Heard talked about it."
