Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleCara Delevingne has finally broken her silence on her long-rumored romance with Johnny Depp's ex-wife, Amber Heard. For almost a decade, the public has wondered whether the duo was secretly seeing each other after Heard separated from the Pirates of the Caribbean star.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Louis Theroux Podcast, the model-actress, 33, became candid about her past relationships, including the much-talked-about secret romance with Amber Heard.
During the interview, host Louis Theroux brought up the long-standing rumors linking Delevingne and Heard, noting that Depp was reportedly "driven crazy by the idea that Amber might be sleeping with you." Delevingne revealed that she never made a pass on Heard while she was married to Depp.

Delevingne explained that the rumors initially stemmed from the time she worked with Amber Heard in the film, London Fields, which also involved Depp in a producing capacity. However, that was not really the case. She and the Aquaman star allegedly became 'entangled' only after the couple separated. Delevingne said:
"It’s because we did a movie together, and it was called London Fields. He was also doing the movie. I think he was pretty driven crazy by jealousy. Nothing was happening at that point. Later, after they divorced, it had, I suppose."
Amber Heard was reportedly also seeing other people when she and Cara Delevingne were romantically involved. The Paper Towns actress clarified that they were not mutually exclusive at the time. She said:
"We were close for a long time, and then when they were going through the divorce, yeah, we were entangled. … But she was also entangled with other people."

While she herself didn't name anyone directly, it was the host, Theroux, who put two and two together, quickly suggesting, "Well, with Elon [Musk],” to which Delevingne simply replied, "There you go."
It was back in 2016, almost ten years ago, when gossip spread around celebrity circles that Amber Heard and Cara Delevingne, both "newly single," were seeing each other and spending time together in hotels. It was shortly after the Aquaman star's messy split from Johnny Depp that eventually led to their divorce filing.
The duo was often photographed together, hanging out at clubs, or simply sharing a lunch in a park. While the model has publicly opened up about her preference for women in previous interviews, the speculation about Amber Heard's sexuality was not confirmed.

The buzz intensified during Depp and Heard's legal battles after claims surfaced in court filings alleging Heard, Delevingne and Musk were involved in a three-way affair while Heard was still married. The trillionaire, however, publicly denied those allegations at that time, insisting that he only began dating Heard about a month after she filed for divorce. Musk also said that things never turned physical between him and Amber.
Depp and Heard married in 2015, and only a year later, the two filed for divorce, citing domestic abuse allegations. Their divorce filing followed years of highly publicized legal disputes that culminated in the widely watched 2022 defamation trial that dominated global headlines. The court proceedings became so popular that Netflix eventually launched a documentary, Depp v Heard, in 2023.

Despite years of name-calling and domestic abuse allegations, the jury ultimately found Heard liable for defaming Depp over her 2018 op-ed about surviving abuse. Before settling, both parties were awarded damages on different claims. Since then, Amber Heard has largely stepped away from Hollywood and is now raising her children away from the spotlight.
The new interview marks the first time Delevingne has publicly confirmed the nature of her relationship with Heard, finally clarifying the rumors that have followed both women for nearly a decade.
