Alia Bhatt is making sure to mark her imprint in the global cinema, and her recent appearance at Cannes 2026 is the perfect canvas for her. Alia Bhatt wore a blush pink gown with plunging neckline

On May 12, 2026, Alia arrived in style for the Cannes 2026 red carpet. The actress ditched the traditional Indian outfit and chose a classy blush pink gown featuring a plunging neckline that gives the right amount of show. Alia styled it with a matching stole and draped it over her arms, adding a sophisticated touch to her style.

Alia, known for opting for minimal makeup, looked nothing less than a princess in soft, dewy pink matte makeup with soft eyes and lips. She styled her hair in wavy curls and accessorised her look with a matching pink necklace. A video of her went viral as Jane Fonda could not stop admiring her while they posed for a group picture. Alia blushed as Jane gave her a quick remark.

Earlier, Alia turned heads in a gorgeous gown by designer, Yash Patil. It went with the summer silhouette, giving her the 1950s heroine vibe. The outfit featured a structured bodice with angular cups and a dropping waist, followed by a voluminous skirt in ombre-dyed silk and organza fabric. It seems like her goal was to bring out her soft era and woo others with her minimal style.

Alia accentuated her look with her vintage-inspired look that gave out old-world charm and had understated elegance. Soft makeup with a lot of golden highlighter and hair tightly tied in a centre-parted bun completed her look. Alia's appearance is going to be remembered for years in the hearts of her fans.

For Day 2, Alia arrived at the Cannes Film Festival dressed in a gorgeous Swarovski-embellished ensemble from Gucci, featuring the GG design. Instantly, people called it Gucci's first saree. Let us inform you that it was Alia's manifestation, as she wanted to wear Gucci's first saree, and she revealed the same in an earlier interaction. While people called it her manifestation turning into reality, the brand didn't acknowledge the piece as a 'saree'.

Yes, according to a post shared by Gucci's official Instagram handle, it was a custom Gucci gown with embroidered crystals in a GG monogram pattern. The brand also revealed that the outfit was a three-piece set featuring a fitted skirt, a V-neckline blouse and a long dupatta that was floating on the carpet. The brand had written:

"Global Brand Ambassador Alia Bhatt attended the closing ceremony of the 78th Cannes Film Festival in a custom Gucci gown with embroidered crystals in a GG Monogram pattern. The actress was also pictured in a custom three-piece set."
