Bunnie Xo Took Dig At Estranged Husband, Jelly Roll With Cryptic Post Hours Before He Filed Divorce

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo's divorce news has left many in shock. The couple got married in 2016, even before Jelly Roll became a fan favourite. A big part of his success is credited to his estranged wife, Bunnie Xo. She would often root for her husabnd in her podcasts and addressed topics and often gave voice to his issues like addiction and past challenges. Recently, she shared a cryptic post, and it seems to be a dig at the end of her marriage due to the odd timings.

On June 15, 2026, Bunnie Xo took to her Instagram stories and posted a gorgeous photo of herself. She was dressed in bold pink satin lingerie. She was seen holding onto her bralette, which was unhooked. Glamorous makeup and her hair left open added another amount of hotness to her look. Along with it, Bunnie penned a note, which seems to be a dig at her husband, Jelly, ending their marriage. She wrote:

"She is getting her sparkle back."

Jelly and Bunnie tied the knot in 2016. Bunnie Xo's real name is Alisa DeFord, and she is a podcast host named Dumb Blonde. It is worth mentioning that she was a sex worker and quit it in the year 2023, years after she was married to Jelly Roll. Talking about the couple's marriage, they had faced a lot of ups and downs. In October 2025, Jelly accepted that the worst phase of his life after growing up was when he cheated on his wife. The couple had also briefly parted ways in 2018, but found their way back to each other. It is worth adding that Bunnie is a stepmother to Bailee Ann DeFord and her son, Noah Buddy DeFord. 

After confessing that he cheated on his wife, Jelly Roll revealed that he had to put a lot of effort into his connection to get strong again with his wife. However, soon it worked out, and their marriage got back on track. But he had this regret that he had an extramarital affair with another woman while he was with his wife. On the other hand, for Bunnie it was't easy, and she found a lot of courage to move on from her husband's betrayal. Bunnie revealed that it is not easy for anyone to get out of it, and called it a process which involves grieving and being heartbroken. She added that though her husband's affair is a part of their life's book, it is not their story. She was quoted as saying:

"I don’t think anybody can just snap out of it. It is a process. You’re literally grieving and you’re heartbroken, but you’re still in love with this person. Even though the affair is a part of the book, it’s not our story. It’s literally what catapulted us into who we are today and I think that readers need to definitely consume it, chew on it and think about it. But they also see what we’ve made from that entire situation. It completely changed who we are as humans and how we looked at love."

It is worth mentioning that Bunnie shared their struggle as a couple in her memoir, Stripped Down. However, the news about their separation left many in shock. However, even before the couple filed for divorce, a footage of the singer from the 2026 CMA Fest shows him without his wedding ring.
