Bunnie Xo Split From Jelly Roll Over His Death Threat Row? Insider Reveals Big Fight Over Nicole

The internet is currently abuzz with discussions and speculation about Jelly Roll's personal life. The recent news regarding his and Bunnie's separation has brought their tumultuous relationship back to the forefront. From Jelly Roll welcoming a child with an unnamed woman before marrying Bunnie Xo to the spouses' constant falling-outs and reconciliations, their entire past is being revisited. The public has also been closely monitoring their social media activities. Amid the buzz around what might have led to their split, reports surfaced regarding Bunny leaving Jelly over his death threat row.

What was Jelly Roll's death threat row about?

It was in April 2026 that it was revealed Jelly Roll had allegedly made death threats against comedian, Nicole Arbour. According to Nicole, she had been dealing with "ongoing issues" involving the singer and those associated with him. Reportedly, Jelly Roll saw Nicole with a camera at a charity event on March 1, 2026. This is what led Jelly to claim that "he would kill her" if he ever saw Nicole with the camera. She reported the incident to the authorities, alongwith sharing video evidence of the incident. However, after reviewing the footage, the deputies didn't file a case against Jelly, citing the following reason:

"As you're probably aware, there appears to be an ongoing online back-and-forth between the two. No charges have been filed, and there is no current investigation underway on the part of MNPD."

Jelly and Bunnie reportedly had massive disagreements over how to handle the death threat allegations made by comedian, Nicole Arbour. According to The U.S. Sun, a source close to the former couple claimed that their fights over the charity event incident ultimately became the breaking point, leading to Jelly Roll's May 2026 divorce filing. The insider claimed that Jelly wanted to end the controversy by doing what Nicole wanted, i.e., a monetary settlement and an apology.

After years of feud with Nicole, rapper, Jelly was ready to get past it; however, it was allegedly his estranged wife who was dead-set against it. The source claimed that Bunnie didn't want Jelly to apologise or settle with Nicole. Jelly Roll, however, was motivated to take the step due to his Christian faith. According to the insider, his sense of connection with God contributed to his desire to reveal the truth about the issue finally. Notably, Jelly Roll has not publicly commented on Nicole's allegations to this day. The source's exact words were:

"He wanted to apologise and settle with Nicole and make it right, and Bunnie wouldn't, which ballooned into this huge sticking point in their relationship."

Nicole Arbour claimed that Jelly Roll once tried to apologise to her before the charity event incident

Nicole's multi-year feud with Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo started after she turned down Ryan Upchurch five years ago. Before the charity event incident took place, in December 2025, Nicole claimed that Jelly wanted to apologise to her. However, she did not reveal the reason for the apology. Nicole took to Instagram at the time and further revealed that it felt strange that a lawyer representing Jelly Roll was allegedly "trying to get a weird joint statement from us that we're cool when you haven't apologised yet."

Two months later, in February 2026, Nicole made another serious accusation against Jelly Roll, alleging that the country singer had offered her a "hush money deal." Once again, she did not specify what the alleged payment was for. On February 14, 2026, she wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

"Hi @JellyRoll615 can I post that alleged hush money deal you allegedly sent over with an alleged threat that if I won't sign it, you'd allegedly sue me?? Really sucks that you couldn't be man enough to apologise for all the INSANE things you did, but here we are."
