Linda Thompson reacts to Brody Jenner welcoming second child, says he's not getting much sleep
Brody Jenner’s mom, Linda Thompson, was recently spotted at the One805LIVE! event in Los Angeles. During the event, she told PEOPLE that she is “so happy” for her son and his wife, Tia Blanco, after they welcomed their second baby. Notably, the couple's second child, a daughter named Dolly, was born on September 21, 2026. Linda added that Brody absolutely loves being a girl dad. In fact, if he were blessed with 10 girls, the reality TV star would still be happy. Linda added:
“Brody loves being a girl dad. You know, if he had 10 girls, he would be happy. He loves being surrounded by his little girls, and they adore him.”
Reiterating that she is really happy for Brody Jenner and for the family, Linda said that she's “inordinately blessed” and “very grateful.” During that same conversation, Linda shared an update on how her son and his wife are doing after embracing parenthood for the second time. She said that they are “not getting much sleep.” This is because newborn babies need to eat every four hours.
Meanwhile, Linda Thompson assured that following the birth of her sixth grandchild, she is going to keep herself busy by helping take care of all her kids’ children. The songwriter and actress joked:
“It’s funny, my primary career right now is babysitting. But I don’t get paid for it, so good thing I got that other residual money coming in from the songwriting.”
Previously, Linda shared a series of photos on Instagram where she could be seen holding her newborn granddaughter while she visited Brody Jenner and Tia in the hospital. In the caption, she gushed about how a precious angel has entered the world, introducing Brody and Tia’s daughter to her followers as Dolly. She claimed that Dolly’s big sister, Honey, is already protective of her little sibling.
Linda revealed that Tia was a champion for powering through her pregnancy. In fact, she said that her daughter-in-law looked like a supermodel even moments after she gave birth. Linda wrote:
"What a woman! Brody was with her throughout it all…giving her love and comfort… As a good man should be. I am so grateful to God and all the powers that be to welcome another precious grandchild into the world. I am already so deeply in love with little Dolly Jane Jenner.”

In the post, the couple gave everyone the first glimpse of their second child, Dolly. Along with photos of their daughter wrapped in a blanket, they also posted a video that showed their eldest child, Honey Raye Jenner, lying beside the little one. Other photos captured Brody and Tia holding their baby for the first time.
In the caption, the couple wrote, “We welcomed our precious Dolly Jane Jenner on International World Peace Day 9/21/26. Mama & baby are in perfect health after an intense but quick unmedicated labor.” Brody also wrote about how he is now officially a girl dad of 2.
