Britney Spears DUI Arrest, Singer Told Cops She Took Drugs, 'Bottles Of Wine' Before Being Caught

New details from singer, Britney Spears' March DUI arrest have now surfaced on social media. For the unversed, it was on March 4, 2026, after 9.00 p.m. that the cops received calls about a car travelling at high speed and swerving. Now, a shocking piece of information has emerged where Britney revealed to the cops that she had taken Prozac and Adderall on the day before her arrest.

Britney Spears told the cops of taking alcohol before being arrested

Britney Spears, according to a report by US Weekly, had told the cops that she had taken Prozac and Adderall before she got arrested. These were the names of the medicines she had taken, including Lamictal. The singer claimed that her last meal, six hours before the arrest, was ice cream. Spears then allegedly told the cop that the only alcohol she had drunk was a champagne Mimosa seven hours before she got pulled over. She had added:

"I could probably drink four bottles of wine and take care of you. I’m an angel."

An officer spoke about Britney Spears' arrest in great detail

An officer who arrested Spears alleged that he had seen a car cross into the same lane multiple times before he turned on the sirens to pull the car over. The report revealed that when Spears pulled over, the officer alleged the singer had not initially responded to the emergency lights. The Officer then got the "distinct odour of an alcoholic beverage and saw a wine glass in the cupholder of the car. Spears first refused to get out of the car and allegedly told the cop that she had the right as a woman not to exit the vehicle. A report by Entertainment Weekly alleged that an officer had located a brown purse that contained a bottle of pills labelled ‘Adderall,’ which were not prescribed to Spears. The Officer also observed an empty wine glass in the cup holder between the front driver seat and passenger seat.

Britney Spears was accused of taking various drugs before her arrest

A report by TMZ claimed that Spears had told the cops that she had taken different prescription drugs when she was arrested, which included Adderall, Prozac, and Lamictal, along with a mood stabiliser and anticonvulsant. The officer alleged that Britney had different mood swings when she was arrested. She was confrontational and agitated, and also showcased signs of being flamboyant and compliant. 

The officer alleged that Britney repeatedly slipped into a British accent and fidgeted a lot when questioned. Well, Page Six earlier reported that a call was made to 911 and shared details of an erratic driver who was erratically slamming on the brakes. The caller alleged that Spears had almost side-swiped three or four vehicles. Her Black BMW was overtaking in other lanes, and the officer noted:

"The subject continued to drive in the #2 lane and did not immediately react to my emergency lights. I activated the police car’s siren to get the driver’s attention."

Though Spears' eyes were "red and watery" with dilated pupils, she later passed two breathalyser tests once brought to the local precinct. Spears initially refused to exit her car when asked but stepped out after 10 objections, per the report. The officer speaking on Spears then claimed:

"Her speech was rapid and slurred, her gait was unsteady, and she was fidgeting with her fingers. The singer took sobriety tests at the scene, but claimed she wasn't feeling well enough to finish them. Spears continued to move her head throughout the test after being instructed to keep her head still. Spears was unable or unwilling to follow my finger throughout the test."
