While a wedding is all about two souls promising each other to stay at their better half's ups and downs, it is also about flaunting one of the best couture that people will remember for years. While it is about the amalgamation of two families, the new bride also has this fear of leaving her family behind and accepting a new set of parents. However, despite all the roller-coaster of emotions that she goes through, she can never miss looking the best on her D-Day. And when the bride is herself into the business of haute couture, then no one can stop her from dazzling in one of the most classy outfits.
Given the fact that the fun and banter of a big fat Indian wedding is curbed due to restrictions in the number of guests that can be invited to a wedding due to COVID-19. A would-be-bride already regrets that aspect. But does that mean that she would give up on her dreams to look the perfect bride on her wedding day? Absolutely not! From choosing the best outfits, jewellery and shoes for her wedding to making sure that the makeup is top-notch, a bride can never miss on any of these. Moreover, if she has found the love of her life in a person, who loves her to no end, then there's nothing like that!
Our bride of the week is Asra Fahim Syed, who is an entrepreneur by profession and owns a fashion label named, World of Asra. Being into the world of haute couture demands her to stay updated with the recent fashion trends so that she can offer the best designs to her clients. Therefore, a person, who has fulfilled the demands of so many would-be brides by decking them up in some of the most stylish pieces, did not rely on anyone else. For her nikaah, she flaunted an-all white lehenga, which was studded with crystals and had stonework all over the body.
Asra had tied the knot at St. Regis in Mumbai with the love of her life, Salman Patel. For the nikaah, Asra had rounded up her all-white ensemble with a diamond necklace and matching earrings. Not just that, her pasaa and nath was the showstopper too. While we could hardly take our eyes off her outfits that had spoken volumes about class, her diamond jewellery had asked for attention at the same time. From the sleeves of her blouse, to the skirt, there was no room for any empty space as the full lehenga was completely filled with stones. For makeup, she had opted for nude lips and light-brown eyeshadow. On the other hand, Salman had twinned with her in a white sherwani and had donned a light pink turban on his head.
After a grand nikaah ceremony, Asra set the fashion quotient higher by choosing the ace designer, Falguni Shane Peacock. At her reception, our entrepreneur bride had sparkled in a beige-coloured lehenga, and just like her wedding outfit, this was also completely studded with stones. She had preferred to keep her wavy tresses open and had looked absolutely ravishing while swirling around in her reception ensemble. Oh, and not to forget those diamonds, who were asking for everyone's attention once again! This time she had carried two necklaces along with the earrings, and the stone-studded headband had made her look like a fairy. Her outfit was so royal that our bride did not need much makeup and had kept it simple with brown lipstick and kohl-rimmed eyes.
Well, by now one must have understood that Asra is not someone, who would compromise on looking the best for any of the functions of her wedding. For her mehendi-cum-sangeet ceremony, our bride of the week flaunted a bottle-green lehenga from the shelves of the ace fashion designer, Tarun Tahiliani. Her lehenga had intricate floral embroidery with multi-coloured threads all over the body. To go with her outfit, Asra had paired a kundan necklace, earrings and matha patti. On the other hand, her prince charming, Salman Patel had complemented her in a bottle green badhgala kurta and couldn't take his eyes off her.
Well, if you are someone, who dreams to flaunt some of the most classy pieces, and that too from one of the most renowned fashion brands, then Asra can definitely be an inspiration for you. There's no doubt that the bride looked stunning in all the ensembles from her wedding-related function. Which one did you like the most? Do let us know!
