Divya Agarwal rose to immense fame with her stint in Bigg Boss OTT. She is currently counting days to get hitched to the love of her life, Apurva Padgaonkar in February 2024. For the unversed, on December 13, 2023, Divya and Apurva announced their wedding with a cutesy 'Save The Date' story. Afterwards, she opened up about her plans regarding her unique wedding, went to a fun-filled bachelorette party with her girlfriends in Goa, and has been working rigorously to make her D-day a hit.
Amidst all these wedding preparations, Divya Agarwal talked about missing her lovely father and proved how she is a daddy's princess. Taking to her IG handle, Divya shared a lovely picture with her daddy, Sanjay Agarwal, who left the mortal planes after his days-long battle with the novel Coronavirus. In the picture, the father-daughter duo was seen merrily posing for the lens and looked the happiest. Sharing it, she gave a glimpse of her strong bond with her father and mentioned how she is missing him on the most special day of her life. Atop the picture, Divya wrote:
“In the midst of all the planning, the only void I have in my heart is God bless me with peace.”

In January 2024, Divya spent a fun-filled bachelorette with her BFFs in Goa. Taking to her IG handle, the bride-to-be shared stunning glimpses from the same. In some of the stories shared by her girlfriends, the diva was seen having a great time partying and enjoying her trip. For the bachelorette party, Divya and her girlfriends stayed in a lavish villa. Later, we also got a sneak peek into the cute bridesmaid hampers, which the bride-to-be specially designed for her darling girlfriends. Not only this, Divya was also seen enjoying a yacht trip, a lavish dinner, and many other events.

If reports are to be believed, Divya would tie the knot with Apurva between February 18-20, 2024. In an old interview with Hindustan Times, Divya once talked about her wedding plans. She revealed her wish to change the usual idea of the wedding, which according to her, are fun but equally stressful. Thus, she mentioned her wish to ditch the typical notion of wearing a yellow outfit on her Haldi or a green one for her mehendi. She also mentioned that there won't be much flower decor, but her wedding venue will be decorated with proper use of lighting. Divya added:
"As much as Indian weddings are fun, they are also equally stressful. I know one thing that I want to change the idea of a wedding that has been going on for a while now. There has to be a different outlook. Haldi mai yellow, mehndi mai green pehenna hai, it is like a pattern now. There are two days for the wedding and people are too tired to attend or do anything, which is not fun and a pressure instead. So, I want to change everything about my wedding. I will change all the narratives. For example, I don’t want to sit for 5 hours putting mehndi and seeing others enjoying it. And, there won’t be a green and pink gadda and flowers ka decor. I only want lighting and don’t want to waste flowers."

In the same interview, Divya further mentioned that she also wants to pay tribute to her roots. Thus, the actress mentioned that such changes would be made on a very minimal basis during her wedding. She added having a traditional ceremony with around 50 guests, including her loved ones. Following this, the diva revealed that she would throw a party for her friends in the industry and other eminent guests after her wedding.
