A woman is the happiest when she dons her dream designer ensemble at her wedding. Any woman takes a considerable amount of time to research and find the dream lehenga that will attract everyone’s attention on her wedding. That’s a reason every bride-to-be start making an extensive list of what they want in their bridal attire and leave no chance to raise the glam-quotient.
Trends come and go, but one thing that remains in India is the gala wedding of one’s life. Weddings become even more festive if the ceremonies have a cross-cultural touch. And one name that instantly comes upon hearing this is Falguni and Shane Peacock’s huge bridal collection. Their unique way of combining colours and pulling off unusual patterns have created a significant name of their own. The bride of the week had opted for a beautiful crimson ensemble from the designer’s collection, and had made herself look like a princess on her wedding day.
The bride of the week, Mohini B, had donned a crimson bridal couture for her D-Day from the shelves of Falguni and Shane Peacock India. She had made sure to keep her look traditional with gota patti floral patterns all over the lehenga choli. She had flawlessly flaunted the heavy stonework on her wedding dress and looked super gorgeous.
The bride had paired her lehenga with a matching choli, adorned with pearl drops at the hemline. Her choli also had a sweetheart neckline and sleeves were made with net mesh fabric that had accentuated her wedding wear. She had completed her look by adding double dupattas to set the mood right. She had pinned one dupatta on her shoulder. And had pinned another dupatta with a golden zari border on her head.
Wedding jewellery choices are also vital to accentuate the wedding dress. And latest trends show a shift from heavy gold sets to designer jewellery. The bride, Mohini, had accessorised her wedding look with a heavy neckpiece adorned with kundan stones and green drops, a three-tier long necklace, matching earrings, a maang teeka, a sleek nath, red and white bangles with golden drops and a gorgeous haathphool.
The gorgeous bride had opted for elegant makeup by Shradha Luthra for her wedding day. Her makeup had included red lipstick, rosy cheeks, golden eyeshadow, thin strokes of mascara and defined brows. Along with it, she had done a neat bun adorned with red roses and looked surreal in her overall wedding avatar.
Mohini’s man of dreams had donned a white sherwani with a matching stole and a red turban matching his wife’s ensemble. Together the couple had looked like a picture of perfect elegance.
