Now, new report claims that Brian was pursuing another woman months before Hayden's passing.

As per a report by Page Six, Hayden Panettiere's on-and-off boyfriend, Brian Hickerson was trying his luck with another woman months before the actress' passing. A 26-year-old woman, who chose not to reveal her name in the media, claimed that they met each other in a nightclub on March 28, 2026. However, the status of whether Hayden and Brian were seeing each other back then is not known.
The mystery woman claimed that she was heavily intoxicated when she met Brian and had no idea what happened that night. However, he had followed her on her IG handle and even sent a DM to her, which can be read as:
"Great meeting you last night pretty lady. I owe you a date. I’m heading to city Tavern for a slushie in a bit you should join."
The woman stated that she had no idea who was Brian and his connection with Hayden as his IG account featured old photos. She replied to Brian and apologized for missing his messages and that she had no memory of the night. However, Brian in his flirty way stated that she didn't seem to drunk. He then DMed her stating that she wanted to make sure that he took her somewhere nice on a date and asked her out. He wrote:
"You wanted to make sure I took you somewhere nice on a date which clearly throws Waffle House out the window so I guess Halls [Chophouse] might have to do if you wanna meet each other properly. Just moved here from Los Angeles so it was nice meeting a pretty girl in Greenville out of the blue. I also realized after I reached out on instagram you gave me your number so I’ll shoot you a text if that’s better."
The mystery woman had no recollection of Brian's story of their meeting but she believed him. She then stated she would meet him and apologize if Hickerson felt like he was pushed into taking her to upscale steakhouse. Brian then replied that they met in the middle of the dance floor and insisted he planned on taking her to Halls as Waffle House looked a intimate location for a first date.
Brian then revealed his age and asked her if it was a deal breaker, the woman reacted to the message with laugh-cry emoji. She asserted that they should go on a date and then see how it goes. Brian flirted with her by stating that she was just as adorable as she was the first night they met. They exchanged more messages but the woman stopped texting him after he asked her about her schooling.
The woman stated that she had lost interest in Brian, especially due to their age gap and since she had no memory of their meeting. He then texted her and wrote, "Hey you it’s Brian Hickerson. Figured I’d text you since you don’t check Insta." Then, he dropped another message as the woman didn't reply to him. He tried to reach her on Instagram again, but the woman didn't engage in any conversation. After which, they didn't spoke again.
The woman revealed that she found out about Brian after Hayden's death news came out and that she was with him at an Airbnb in Greenville. She said:
"I vaguely remembered the name and began looking through my direct messages. The possibility that I had unknowingly become connected to a high-profile relationship, especially in these unfortunate circumstances, was beyond my comprehension."
