Brad Pitt Cheated On Jennifer Aniston With Angelina Jolie While The Former Was Struggling For A Baby

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s strained relationship is leading the spotlight with multiple stories about the reason for their split. But do you know before falling in love with Jolie, Pitt was madly in love with actress, Jennifer Aniston. They were hailed as the most adorable and power couple of Hollywood. Everything was going well in their paradise until the duo announced the end of their marriage in 2005.

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were introduced by their managers in 1994 and the couple started dating secretly in 1998. At the peak of her career, Jennifer married him in July 2000 in a lavish Malibu ceremony. They were addressed as Hollywood's 'golden couple' for years and every glimpse of the two was a proof that they were head-over-heels in love with one another.

It was during the making of the romantic action film, Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2004 when rumours about his alleged linkup with Angelina Jolie began. Brad Pitt was happily married to Jennifer Aniston while he was filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Pictures of Pitt and Jolie holding hands surfaced and soon it was claimed that Pitt was cheating on Aniston with Jolie. But neither he nor Jolie addressed the reports.

And in 2005, Aniston and Pitt announced their separation, finalising their divorce later that year. Media speculation tied their split to Pitt's growing closeness with Angelina Jolie. Although Jennifer maintained silence, the 'love-triangle' drew in readers. Soon after their divorce was finalised, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stepped out as a couple. Later in an interview, Jolie and Pitt admitted that they fell in love during the making of Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Though Pitt and Aniston parted ways amicably in 2005, there were stories that it was Aniston’s decision to focus on work and not have a baby which was the reason behind their split. It was opposite of that. Months before the split, Jennifer, while speaking to The Guardian stated that she was all set to welcome a baby. In her words:

“It's time. It's time. You know, I think you can work with a baby, I think you can work pregnant, I think you can do all of it. So I'm just truly looking forward to slowing down.”

But the actress had her own biological issues. She was dealing with unsuccessful fertility treatments while tabloids carried reports about pregnancy being one of the reasons for her split from Brad Pitt. In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, Aniston spoke about the same and said:

“I used to take it all very personally — the pregnancy rumors and the whole 'Oh, she chose career over kids' assumption. It’s like, ‘You have no clue what’s going with me personally, medically, why I can’t … can I have kids?’ They don’t know anything, and it was really hurtful and just nasty.”
