In 2016, Bonnie Tyler's super fan, Meghann claimed that the '80s singer's husband, Robert Sullivan. She even shared proofs of the same. As per Mehgann, their affair started with a back stage kiss during Bonnie's concert in France. After which, Robert gave her his number.
Meghann further revealed that they had weekly sex at hotels, which she would arrange for them as Robert was extremely careful of not letting it blow out. They had 18 months of affair and in 2016, Meghann revealed the truth about their affair.
As a proof Meghann also shared messages she received from Robert from 2014 to 2015. Meghann revealed that she once got a message from Bonnie Tyler's husband, Robert, where he stated that he was having naughty thoughts about her. He said, "I’m talking to my brother and all I can think about r naughty thoughts about you." In another one, he stated that he was fantasising about her, "In the toilet thinking about you my fantasy is you kissing me head to toe for hours."
In one of the messages, Robert asserted that he wanted him to with her, "I wish I could be with you x." However, Meghann was not happy as Robert wanted to continue the affair behind the back of Bonnie Tyler, and she asked him if he regretted the affair. To which he told her that he was happy and he would often tell her that he loved her.
How Robert Sullivan's affair got busted?
Meghann knew that the affair wouldn't last, as Robert Sullivan was married to Bonnie Tyler. She started getting upset, and she thought that telling Bonnie would make things better. So one day in January 2015, she confessed the whole situation in an email to Bonnie, and then Robert blasted her and called her a crazy girl.
He told her that she needed to go to a mental hospital. Meghann accepted that when she told Bonnie everything, she felt relief. She said:
"I thought she had to know the truth. I emailed her to tell her things. Then Robert called me and left me a voicemail. He called me a crazy girl and said I needed to go to a mental hospital. He called me evil and that he understands why everybody hates me. When I told Bonnie, it was a relief. I kept it a secret too long. But it hurts as I lost them."
Talking about Bonnie, she chose to forgive Robert rather than part ways with him. In fact, Bonnie once revealed that she and Robert had other partners while they were young. Maybe it was the reason she chose to stick to her marriage and not let it go.
Bonnie Tyler always spoke lovingly about her husband, and never addressed the affair buzz in public, but reports claimed she was hurt.
