Bobby Deol and Twinkle Khanna have now become two prominent stars in the Indian entertainment industry. Bobby, the younger son of legendary actor, Dharmendra, made his debut in Bollywood with the 1995 film, Barsaat. The same film turned out to be Dimple Kapadia and Rajesh Khanna's daughter, Twinkle’s debut film as well. However, as per several old reports, Bobby and Twinkle did not get along during the shoot of the film. Even Bobby revealed once that the duo were at each other's throats all the time during filming.
Previously, in an interview with Filmfare, Bobby Deol talked about his bond with Twinkle Khanna. The actor shared that from day one, the duo did not get along. They used to be at each other’s throats on the sets of Barsaat. Bobby further recalled how his talks about morning ablutions and the importance of a clean stomach used to irritate the actress. Bobby recalled:
“Tina and I didn’t get along from day one. We were at each other’s throats throughout the making of Barsaat. We’d fight about silly things. I used to irritate her by talking about the morning ablutions and the importance of a clean stomach. She used to find that obnoxious. She hated it when I used abusive words, she’d get all hot and bothered. And I loved needling her.”

During the same interaction, Bobby Deol reminisced about the day when his co-star, Twinkle fainted on the set. He added that they were shooting near Manali, and that’s when the actress lost consciousness due to the scarce availability of oxygen in the area. Bobbly recalled being scared due to the incident. He said:
“Once I remember we were shooting in Rohtang Pass near Manali. The oxygen supply was close to scarce. And she fainted. We had to pack up, she really gave us a scare.”
Bobby Deol mentioned while interacting with Filmfare that on the day of Barsaat’s premiere, Twinkle shocked him. He shared that the actress would get irritated if anyone used foul language around her, but on the premiere day, she took a complete 180-degree turn and started using foul lingo. Bobby added:
“On the day of the premiere, we travelled together in the same car. I was a nervous wreck. I’m sure even she was, but she hid it well. Throughout the car journey, I just held her hand. And you know what happened after the premiere? I heard her use foul lingo. I was taken aback. Throughout the shooting, she’d nagged me about giving gaalis. And here she was doing the same. When I told her this, she just chortled.”

Further into the interview, Dharmedra’s younger son recalled how both of them managed to overcome their difference with the passage of time. Bobby revealed that both the stars used to laugh recalling such childish incidents from their initial days in the industry. In the meantime, the actor also recalled a funny incident involving the two. He said that while he was shooting for Ajnabee, Bobby met with Twinkle, and the media reported that the two were sunbathing while Twinkle's husband, Akshay Kumar, kept an eye on them. Bobby added:
“Today, we laugh about the stupid things we did then. She’s now married to my pal Akshay. Recently I met her on a cruise while shooting for Ajnabee. We had a ball. Then the press wrote that we were sunbathing together. And that Akshay kept a check on us throughout. That was hilarious. I never strip in public. So where’s the question of sun-bathing? It’s good to see her happily married.”
