Ever since Bipasha Basu had tied the knot with Karan Singh Grover, rumours of her pregnancy had been making rounds. However, it was in 2022, when Bipasha and Karan finally gave the good news to their fans. After which, all eyes are on Bipasha and her cutesy baby bump. Recently, the actress' mother hosted a traditional godh bharai, which is called shaadh in Bengali.
For the ceremony, the mom-to-be, Bipasha was decked up in a bright pink-coloured silk saree. Her look was accentuated with gold jewellery. We also spotted her mother feeding her yummy food from her hands and it was a beautiful moment. Alongside it, Bipasha had expressed her wish of being a mother like her own mom:
"Wish to be a Ma like you. Love you Ma."

Now, as per the latest report, a very close friend of Bipasha Basu is going to throw a baby shower. However, it is going to be an intimate affair with only 20 invitees on September 23, 2022. The invites for the same have been sent out. However, it is the tagline of the invite and the theme that left us in awe. The tagline read — 'A Lil Monkey is on the way'. The theme and the dress code for the event is 'Ladies - Pink and Peaches, and Gents - Lavender and Blues'.
The invite further mentioned taking all the necessary precautions for the COVID-19, so that no harm comes to the mom-to-be and her baby.
Earlier, in an interview with the Mid-Day, Bipasha Basu had talked about embracing pregnancy in her forties, which was the reason she didn't immediately announce it as they wanted to reach a safer timeline. Talking about her initial phase of pregnancy, Bipasha shared that it wasn't just morning sickness, but rather she was vomiting all day. She had said:
"No one talks about how horrible it can be. It is not morning sickness, it's all-time sickness. I was vomiting all day; It was as if I was possessed. I used to look up at God and shout. why are you doing this?"
