In an interview with media outlet, Variety, Billie Eilish reveals that she has a complicated relationship with women in general, though she herself is one. She divulges that she shares a close bond with every woman in her life, be it her family or friends. Billie further adds that she loves them all and is physically attracted to women and their beauty, but at the same time, she is intimidated by women's presence and beauty. Billie Eilish further added:
"I've never really felt like I could relate to girls very well. I love them so much. I love them as people. I'm attracted to them as people. I'm attracted to them for real. I have deep connections with women in my life, the friends in my life, the family in my life. I'm physically attracted to them. But I'm also so intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence."
Like every second woman in the world, Billie is also insecure about her body. Talking about the same, the Ocean Eyes singer revealed that she did not want people to see her body, which is why she always dresses in baggy clothes. Billie also divulged that she never really felt like a woman or desirable in any sense. Talking more about her insecurities, Billie added:
"I didn't want people to have access to my body, even visually. I wasn't strong enough and secure enough to show it. Maybe my not really caring about being sexualized is because I've never felt desired or desirable. I've never felt like a woman, to be honest with you. I've never felt desirable. I've never felt feminine. I have to convince myself that I'm, like, a pretty girl. I identify as 'she/her' and things like that, but I've never really felt like a girl."

In August 2023, Billie Eilish conducted an Instagram Q&A with her 110 million followers. When one of her fans asked the Grammy winner who is her celebrity crush, Billie surprised her fans when, instead of naming a male, Billie declared Stranger Things actress, Maya Hawke as her crush. Billie also revealed that apart from Maya Hawke, she also has a massive crush on Ginger, aka Geri Halliwell Horner from the Spice Girls.
