Elvish Yadav created history by winning Bigg Boss OTT 2, as he is the first-ever wild card contestant to win BB. As his fans have been claiming that he has hanged the 'systumm', Elvish proved that determination and confidence can actually bring success. However, the historical win of Elvish Yadav has won millions and millions of hearts. With the trophy and a hefty price tag of Rs. 25 lakhs, Elvish is now the king of hearts. Moreover, after Elvish won the show, a video of him claiming how many people had voted for him within 15 minutes has been doing rounds on the internet, leaving fans in awe.
In the video, which has been going viral online, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav can be seen looking dapper in a black-coloured ethnic outfit. The handsome individual can also be seen informing the others in a room that Jio Cinema has officially told him that he has got 280 million votes within the time span of only 15 minutes. Elvish can be heard saying:
"Saara scene khatam hua, main andar gaya toh jo Jio ke head hain, jiska poora show hai, maalik jo hai, unhone bola, ‘Aapko pata hai 15 minutes main kitne vote aaye aapke liye?’ Maine poocha kitne, toh unhone kaha '280 million'."

As soon as the video went viral on X (previously Twitter), fans started giving mixed reactions about the same. While one user wrote, "He must have misunderstood, probably 2.80 million", another user commented, "This feeling= goosebumps." On the other hand, the huge fanbase of Elvish Yadav has been celebrating his historical win in Bigg Boss OTT 2. Elvish also took to his official IG handle and thanked his fans with a heartfelt note, which could be read as:
"Thankyou #ElvishArmy. It's your win, it always had been since the start. Elvish Yadav is nothing without you all. I have said it a lot of times, I am saying it again. I don't deserve this much love, but you guys give me more and more. Can't thank you all enough for everything. Lo le aaya tumhari trophy. This trophy belongs to #ElvishArmy. Abhishek Malhan, who had been showing his charisma throughout 58 days in the house of Bigg Boss OTT 2, couldn't win the trophy, but it was surely a tough call between him and Elvish Yadav. However, since the time when Elvish graced Bigg Boss OTT 2, the close friendship between him, Manisha Rani, and Abhishek Malhan became the talk of the town. However, it was Elvish's sweet gesture to call Manisha on the stage and share his trophy with Abhishek and her, which won millions of hearts.

Another gem of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Abhishek Malhan, who is not keeping well with his health shared a message and thanked his fans for showering him with so much love and support. In a video message, which he recorded from the hospital, Abhishek said that he is sorry for disappointing his fans for not winning the show. He also congratulated his co-contestant, Elvish, on his historic win.
