Now that Bigg Boss 20 has officially premiered, Mahhi Vij is seen grabbing significant attention for her unfiltered charisma. While her ex-husband, Jay Bhanushali, is rooting for her, Mahhi opened up about her second innings. For the unversed, in January 2026, the ex-couple shared a joint post announcing their separation.
Mahhi Vij gets candid about her second innings after her divorce from Jay Bhanushali
Bigg Boss 20 has officially begun, and on the very first day, Mahhi Vij has irked everyone inside the house with her bossy behaviour. During a conversation with Badshah’s ex-wife and Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi, Mahhi called Salman Khan-hosted show, Bigg Boss 20 a 'divorcee special.' Isha asked Mahhi what kind of conversations she likes to have. In response, Mahhi said that she is interested in knowing about people’s affairs. She said:
"Tell me who has which affair outside. Three divorcees have entered the house: you, me and Boxer (Mary Kom). Second innings toh humari chal rahi hai yaha. Divorcee special. What did you think before entering the show?"
Hearing Mahhi’s question, Isha shared that she wants people to know her as she always has been a private person. She said, "I don't want people to know me as someone’s wife or girlfriend. I want them to know me as Isha. This is the reason why I am here." Mahhi further said that Isha went viral on social media lately due to her divorce announcement.
For those unaware, a few days back, Isha took to her Instagram Stories to announce her separation from rapper Badshah after five months of marriage. However, the conversation regarding their past relationships doesn’t end here, as the next day Mahhi once again nudged on the same topic with boxing sensation Mary Kom.
Mary Kom was showing her boxing skills to everyone inside the house. The boxer shared how she has been following the same discipline even after taking a sabbatical from the boxing championships. The next moment, Mahhi asked Mary, "Your husband must have been extremely scared of you." Hearing this, Mary politely requested to leave the topic. Mahhi further nudged, "But why can't we talk about it? There might be good things to talk about your ex too."
Isha was quick to join the conversation and said, "Not necessarily that all of them will have good things to talk about their ex. You might have had good things, but not all would have." Mahhi then questioned whether the divorce was bad. Hearing this, Isha and Mary told her to stay out of it. Mary added:
"We had our share of good or bad memories and moments. Now, silently I wanted to withdraw. It was extremely complicated; there were allegations, and we all have different journeys with our divorces, so let's not talk about it. I want to have fun and rest now, not be bothered about what happened in my life."
