When two souls are destined to be together, there lies no force in this universe that can keep them apart. No matter how big the distance is between them, they will find their way to each other eventually. And, this is just what happened with our beautiful couple, Vikram Dhawan and Silvia Rajpal. Vikram, a doctor by profession, settled in England, and Silvia, a chartered accountant from Delhi, met each other and got married through an arranged marriage set up. And, even though they had just 45 days to manage and arrange everything, both the families did put up one hell of an event that comprised of some of the biggest labels and brand names of Bollywood. Vikram himself flew down to India on Valentine’s Day to woo his lady love away. And within the next 15 days, he swept her off her feet and flew her back home with him miles and continents away!

One of the most in-vogue things when it comes to weddings today is the pre-wedding photo shoot. So, how could these two not have it? Well, they certainly did and how! Their wedding photographers, the Rajesh Digital team, one of the most renowned photographers from Faridabad, chose Hotel Crown Plaza, New Delhi, for this shoot. The couple brought along with them their selection of attires from Zara, Bebe, Armani, Promod and Ferragamo, and got some really beautiful and out-of-the-box poses clicked.

Silvia wanted a royal English theme for her engagement. And to turn her dream into a reality, her brother, who hails from Melbourne, Australia, took care of everything. From selecting the venue to finalising the theme and other things, he made sure everything suited his sister’s idea of royal just perfectly. With a colour palette of red, white and gold, the venue looked every bit elegant.

Also, all the outfits worn by the bride and the groom for their wedding functions, were by the big Indian designers. For this one, Silvia wore a beautiful royal English gown from Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor’s wedding collection 2015, and looked absolutely stunning in it. Her hair and makeup was done by Susan from the Plum Salon, New Delhi. Complementing her well, Vikram wore a super-stylish blue bandhgala jacket with green pants.
The couple along with their families, danced the night away on all popular foot-tapping numbers. But, the highlight of all the performances was certainly the couple’s dance on Chaar Kadam from movie, PK, and I Wanna Love Somebody by Maroon 5.

The families chose one of the famous farms in Chattarpur, New Delhi, as the wedding venue. From the food arrangements and decorations to the outfits and jewellery, everything was stunningly elaborate, exquisite and absolutely extraordinary!

Vikram chose to wear an intricately designed, white and gold embroidered sherwani from the famous wedding store, Diwan Saheb.

And, our beautiful bride wore a stunning red lehenga by Tarun Tahiliani, which had lovely zardozi handwork on it. Again, she chose the Plum Salon for her hair and makeup that looked perfectly set and pleasing to the eyes. She teamed up her lehenga with footwear from the Steve Madden wedding collection. And, her stunning chooda and kalire were from the famous galiyan of Chandni Chowk, New Delhi, a paradise for wedding shopping!

And, if you thought the designer brigade ended at the two of them, you need to hold on your breaths for some more! While the bride’s dad and brother chose to wear Amitabh Bachchan-style Indo-western sherwanis designed by Manish Malhotra, her mother was not far behind as she wore a ravishing lehenga-saree from Shantanu and Nikhil’s 2015 collection.

The wedding along with all its functions was a superb treat for all those who were a part of it. And, to arrange all that in just a month and a half was really commendable. So, here’s wishing this cute couple a beautiful married life ahead with a lifetime of togetherness and commitment.
