Bhojpuri superstar, Pawan Singh's personal life has been a major topic of public interest since his second wife, Jyoti Singh filed a complaint against him and his parents in court. The couple has already filed for divorce in court, and the proceedings are in process. However, the court has reportedly given time to the couple to think about their marriage before parting ways.

However, just when Pawan's fans thought that he and Jyoti were mending their ways with each other, the latter’s picture from her visit to Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple broke everyone’s hopes of seeing them together. On January 7, 2023, Jyoti turned a year older and visited the iconic Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple to seek blessings on her special day. From her visit to the temple, Jyoti posted pictures on Instagram where she can be spotted donning a red kurta-pyjama.

However, as soon as she uploaded the picture on Instagram, the actress received a lot of backlash for not applying sindoor, while visiting the temple. Although it is quite clear that things aren’t normal between Jyoti and her husband, Pawan Singh, which can be the reason why she decided not to apply sindoor on her maang. However, what angered the netizens was the fact that in most of her dance reels on Instagram, she applied sindoor and when it was about going to a temple, she ditched the sacred kumkum. Jyoti has even mentioned in her bio that she is Pawan Singh’s wife, as one line of her Instagram bio reads, “Mrs Pawan Singh”.

Unfortunately, many people found it wrong and bashed Jyoti for the same in the comment section of her post. While a user wrote, "Abhi maang ka sindoor kaha gaya. Court jaati ho toh sindoor karti ho. Acha rajneeti karti ho", another one commented, "Janamdin mubarak ho. Lekin Bhojpuri King ke bina, zindagi adhuuri hain. Chahe jis ghamand mein ho tum". Check out the comments:

Pawan Singh's first wife, Neelam killed herself in 2015

For the unversed, Pawan Singh’s first wife, Neelam Singh killed herself back in 2015, and the reason behind that traumatic incident is still unknown. However, the Bhojpuri superstar fell in love with Jyoti after some years, and it was on March 6, 2018, when they got married in an intimate wedding ceremony.

However, after some months, Pawan’s second wife, Jyoti filed for divorce in court. It was shocking news for everyone and raised a lot of eyebrows at the actor. In her complaint for divorce in the family court in Arrah in October 2021, Jyoti admitted that Pawan had allegedly abused her both physically and verbally. According to a report by Navbharat Times, she also demanded alimony of Rs. 3.5 lakhs from Pawan. However, so far, nothing has been said from both of them on the topic of alimony.
