Bhadresh Patel has been on the US FBI's Most Wanted list for the last 11 years. Now, the reward for any information about him has been increased to USD 1 million. Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel was born on May 15, 1990, in Gujarat and came to the US to work. He has been accused of the murder of his wife, Palak Patel, murder in 2015.
It was on April 12, 2015, when then-24-year-old Bhadresh did the most horrendous thing. He was working with his wife, Palak Patel, during the night shift at a doughnut shop in Maryland, which was owned by his relative. In the late hours, he reportedly attacked his wife with a heavy object and struck her multiple times. This led to her passing, and she wasn't even given a chance to escape.

Later, the investigation revealed that Bhadresh killed his wife, Palak, in the back room of the shop. After which, he ran away from the scene and went straight to their apartment. He collected some items and cash. He took a taxi and checked into the hotel in New Jersey at 3 a.m. with no bags, and checked out even hours later. As per reports, Bhadresh was last seen in New Jersey's Newark Penn Station about 11 years ago.

Bhadresh is still on the run, and the FBI has not been able to catch him. Talking about the reason for killing his wife, as per the investigators' theories, the couple's visas had expired a month before this incident. Palak wanted to go back to India, but Bhadresh didn't want to return. However, Bhadresh's way of executing the murder and escaping the scene proved that it was a calculated move, and shows a lot about his motive.

After Bhadresh fled the scene, a court in the US state of Maryland issued a warrant against the accused. He was charged with executing first-degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, assault with a dangerous weapon and fleeing to avoid prosecution.

As per the experts, they believed that Bhadresh might have fled to Canada to avoid the FBI, or he could be with a distant relative in the US. Or there are chances that he might have travelled back to India via Canada. Now, as an attempt to catch him and solve the case, the FBI has raised the reward to USD 1 million, which is over Rs. 9 crore, for information on Bhadresh's whereabouts or any details. Earlier, the reward for his information was USD 250,000.

As per County Police, Anne Arundel, Palak Patel was just 21 years old at the time she was killed by her then 24-year-old husband, Bhadreshkumar Patel. The couple got married in India in 2013. They lived happily in India, but then they came to the United States on visas. Despite it, Palak remained close to her family back in India. When their visas expired, she wanted to get back to India. She said:
"Palak (married) Bhadreshkumar Patel in India in 2013. While in India, their marriage flourished. They came to the United States on visas, and Palak remained very close to her family back in India. She believed that their stay in the United States had concluded, as their visas had expired, and she had plans to return to India to rejoin her family. However, at that time, Bhadreshkumar had no intention of returning to India, which caused friction between the couple."
