The film, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! Fun On The Run follows the core story of the much-loved sitcom by the same name. The narrative of the film is set in a road-trip adventure, where 'Vibhuti Narayan Mishra' (played by Aasif Sheikh) and 'Manmohan Tiwari' (played by Rohitashv Gour) are still obsessed with each other's wives. 

However, the film takes a different turn. Slowly and gradually 'Vibhuti' and 'Manmohan' go on a run. This introduces two different characters played by Ravi Kishan and Mukesh Tiwari, who are brothers. The film takes a chaotic turn when Mukesh Tiwari's character accidentally kills 'Vidhuti'. This adds more chaos to the film, which blends chase, disguises and messed up identities.

The best part of the film, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! Fun On The Run is the nostalgia and the familiarity. What works in the film is that the audience knows the characters and is familiar with the background because of the Indian sitcom. For the viewers who have watched the TV show before found the film nostalgic and interesting. 

Another plus point of the film was the power-packed performance by Aasif Sheikh, Rohitashv Gour, Ravi Kishan and more. The clean and family-friendly comedy also is a major highlight of the show. Despite having a theatrical release, the makers did not try to please the audience with adult comedy, rather they maintained the tone of the sitcom.

Where the film, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! Fun On The Run falter?

The biggest problem in the film, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! Fun On The Run is that the makers couldn't change the plot for theatres. Instead of planning a completely different setup and making a story suitable for the cinema, the film looks like a few episodes combined together to make a feature movie. The jokes are repeated from the show, which makes it boring for the viewers. The audience can also find the twists and turns of the film predictable. 

The characters are also not developed properly. Another major problem in the film is its flat set-up, cluttered frames and loud colour palette, which distracts the viewers. In short, it looks like the director was shooting for a TV episode and planned a theatrical release at the last minute. Due to the distraction because of the colour palette and frames, a few punchlines go unnoticed, making it a disappointing experience for the viewers.
