One of the most awaited and grand (like literally!) engagements of the year happened over the weekend at Lake Como, Italy. Well, the mention is of business tycoon and Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s daughter, Isha Ambani. Isha had a formal engagement ceremony with business magnate, Ajay Piramal’s son, Anand Piramal. Their’s was a three-day affair at Lake Como, Italy from September 21, 2018, till September 23, 2018. Soon good wishes from their well-wishers started pouring in and one amongst those lovely wishes was by famous Bollywood actress, Kiara Advani. Well, to wish her baby sister-like close friend, Kiara took to her Instagram account and shared a collage made of some throwback pictures. Each and every picture in it would remind you of your childhood bestie. Along with it, the MS Dhoni: The Untold Story actress wrote, “There are some special people who are a part of your life and you grow up with. My oldest friend, still as caring, as humble and as amazing as you were when we first met! My to be bridey, Ishu never ever let the child in you grow up forever your Aliu. For the ones who have been living under the rocks all these days, Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal had a grand engagement celebration in Italy. The 3-day event witnessed who’s who of the Bollywood land and other famous business personalities. The names who attended the do are inclusive of Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Sonam Kapoor with her husband Anand Ahuja, and Priyanka Chopra with fiance Nick Jonas. Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Manish Malhotra and Karan Johar. Though the Ambanis wanted some space this time and wanted to have a close-knit ceremony, some photos and videos got leaked. To let you all know, Isha Ambani’s fiancé, Anand Piramal is the son of an Indian industrialist, philanthropist and social entrepreneur, Ajay Piramal. Anand Piramal’s father Ajay Piramal, is the Chairman of the Piramal Group, a conglomerate with interests in financial services, healthcare analytics, pharma, glass packaging along with many others. Anand is the youngest president of the Indian Merchant Chamber – Youth Wing. Also, Anand is currently the Executive Director of Piramal Group and is heading the real-estate business for them as well. In addition to this, Anand is the founder of a start-up named, Piramal eSwasthya, which is basically focused to democratise healthcare. On the work front, Kiara Advani will feature in Good News starring Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar.
