Depression, anxiety, love, hatred, stress and all the other things can lead up to something dangerous in life. And that is what has happened to one of the most popular television actresses in the Bengali entertainment industry, Pallabi Dey. The young Bengali diva, Pallabi was found dead at her apartment in Kolkata on Sunday, i.e. May 15, 2022, and the police is now investigating the case.
Pallabi Dey had made her mark in the Bengali television industry with her acting stint in the serial, Ami Sirajer Begum. Later, she had worked in a few more serials including Kunja Chhaya and Resham Jhapi. Recently, she was working as the lead role in the daily soap drama, Mon Mane Naa, which was receiving a lot of TRP from the audience.

According to police sources, Pallabi Dey was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her room at the rented apartment in South Kolkata. After she was found like this, she was taken to a nearby hospital, but the actress was declared dead as per a report in PTI. Her body has been taken for post mortem. However, the investigating police team is suspecting that the young actress died by suicide. Following the initial investigation, an investigating officer mentioned to IANS:
"Prima facie, it seems that it is a case of suicide. However, the final conclusion can be made only after the post-mortem report is available. We have started an investigation after filing a case of unnatural death."
Pallabi was just 21 years old, and she was living in a rented apartment with her partner, Sagnik Chakraborty. They said that no one was around Pallabi when she had attempted for suicide other than Sagnik. Pallabi's sister revealed to the media that Sagnik was previously married to another woman and their registered marriage was found out by Pallabi which had made her very upset. On one hand, where the actress' parents are blaming her lover. On the other Sagnik's parents are denying all the allegations. Police officials are investigating and questioning Sagnik's parents.

In a media interaction, Sagnik's parents denied all the allegations made by Pallabi's parents and opened up about how their son and the actress' relationship was. Talking about the same, they mentioned that the young couple never had any problems. As per quoted by ETimes, they said:
“They used to live together. Although we were not in complete support, we allowed them since they are grown-ups. A few times I had asked Sagnik to stay elsewhere and start living together once they are married. They didn’t have any major issues. I don’t know what happened."
