The eldest twins of Mary Kom and Karung Onkholer Kom (popularly known as Onler), accompanied her to the premiere night of Bigg Boss 20. Mary's sons, Rechungvar and Khupneivar, had some fun moments with Salman Khan, led their mom to the main gate of the BB house, took her boxing robe, and returned home. Their brief appearance was enough to make netizens recall their alleged reaction to Mary Kom's alleged affair.
Mary Kom's ex-husband, Onler, said in a conversation with Hindustan Times that their children knew about their mother's alleged affair. The former couple's messy relationship had become a significant public and social media dispute, which makes it highly likely that the kids would have heard about it, too. During the interview, Onler also shared the impact of the controversy on them.
Onler claimed that their oldest twin boys were "heartbroken" and "very unhappy" with their mother's alleged affair. According to him, one of the twins even wanted to beat up the alleged lover of Mary Kom. However, Onler claimed to have stepped in and asked his son to calm down and not take such drastic steps.
Onler said he advised his kids to hold on to the good memories of their parents, rather than the bitterness that they witnessed in the later part of their marriage. He was quoted by Hindustan Times as saying:
"I met my oldest kids recently. We spent some time together. They were heartbroken and very unhappy with their mother's alleged affair. One of them said they wanted to beat up the man. I told them to let go and focus on the happy things and memories. And that I will always be here for them, no matter what. That I would always be their father."
Onler Kom expressed his commitment to fathering his kids properly, no matter where his relationship with his baby mama, Mary Kom, stood. Both Mary and Onler have publicly expressed concern for their children's mental health and well-being, emphasising the need to shield them from the negativity and public scrutiny surrounding the divorce.
With whom did Mary Kom spark cheating allegations?
Mary Kom's ex-husband, Onler, alleged that she was involved in extramarital affairs with two men at different points in time, but neither of them confirmed being in a relationship with her. According to Onler Kom, Mary was involved in an affair with a junior boxer in 2013, which caused family conflicts that were eventually resolved.
However, in 2017, Mary Kom was allegedly once again involved in an extramarital affair, this time with her business associate Hitesh Choudhary. As for his identity, he is a former national-level cricketer and the chairman of the Mary Kom Foundation.
