Barry Keoghan Breaks Silence On Relationship With Sabrina Carpenter Amid Cheating Claims, 'I Feel..'

Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan's relationship has often grabbed a lot of attention. For the unversed, they sparked dating rumours in 2023 and after a year, they announced their split. After their split, multiple reports claimed that Barry cheated on the global superstar. Well, now Barry Keoghan came forward and opened up about the allegations of cheating on Sabrina.

Recently, actor, Barry Keoghan appeared on Benny Blanco and Lil Dicky’s podcast, Friends Keep Secrets, during which he opened up about his relationship with Sabrina Carpenter. Sharing the reason behind why he disappeared from social media, Barry explained that there were a lot of narratives about him online at that time, which were completely false. Barry Keoghan was quoted as saying:

"I feel in a safe space to say this, but I have been avoiding stuff. I came off Instagram and social profiles. I’ve stopped going to events. I’ve stopped just socializing. It’s because there was a narrative out there that was never really sort of even spoken on- a narrative that’s not true- and I never confirmed or said anything about it. And I just disappeared."

Further, when the podcast host, Lil Dicky asked Barry Keoghan about the rumour that he is talking about, the latter explained that he was referring to reports claiming that he cheated on Sabrina Carpenter. Barry stated that he doesn’t expect people to be his fans; however, he wants them to stay away from accusing others. In his words:

"I’m not asking for people to become my fan and like me because that’s not normal. I’m asking for people to stop assuming and also stop jumping on this narrative and attacking me and dragging me down in any way you can. I’m not saying this for pity. Why is it cool to hop on and beat someone up?"

Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter's relationship was one of the most talked-about celebrity romances at that time. Even though their relationship lasted for less than a year, they managed to impress fans with their chemistry. If reports are to be believed, Sabrina and Barry were first spotted in early 2024. I deactivated my account because I can no longer let this stuff distract from my family and my work."
